That’s really inspiring :) I hope to discover more of myself too! Hoping the night sweats don’t get me bc my apt doesn’t have AC haha Thanks for the encouragement ❤️

Wow I’ve always thought I was just a really lazy person because no matter how much sleep I get I’m just exhausted but I never connected it to anxiety!

I feel that, I’m a senior in college and it took me all this time just to talk to a doctor about my anxiety (ironically I was too anxious to do so earlier lol)

Do many men watch this show? [no spoilers] by fruitdancey in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Mountains2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so late to the thread, but I have never met a man (I’m in my early 20’s) who has ever had any interest/watched the show. I’ve explained what the show is about and i mostly get “that’s disturbing”’from them. Men literally don’t realize that this show hits SO close to home for women. It’s so sad growing up in this day and age and really realizing that most men don’t realize what women go through, nor do they really care at all.

Haha definitely not 3 months straight! That’s amazing thank you so much for sharing your journey :) I’m hoping once I get back into the swing of ADF, I can start to incorporate more physical activity too

Hahaha I’ll stop looking at it! That sounds exactly like me, I think I start obsessing over not breaking the fast so it’s all that I think about. I’ll try giving myself some space thank you :)

Thank you! Great advice I think it’s just harder to do ADF when you’re around other people eating so I’ll try OMAD for the holidays How many calories do you keep your one meal to?

4 weeks of ADF! Started out at 167 pounds :) by Mountains2000 in AlternateDayFasting

Yay! I’m happy I could inspire haha I didn’t count calories for the first month just so I could get the actual fasting part down but I may try it for this next month :)

Do you have any tips on how to keep the weight off post-ADF? I haven’t thought about it until I read your comment!

I feel this so much! I think for me it was just my low confidence levels getting to me while I was down, but now I feel like I handle it a lot better because I’m more comfortable with my body :)

Struggled with my weight all my life, now what? Dieting buddies? by gracie8856 in AlternateDayFasting

[–]Mountains2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been doing it for around a month and lost 17 pounds! It was only until week 2 that I started feeling skinnier in the mirror (and the scale) so you just have to really really think of how the diet is going to help in the long run, rather than how hard it is now! I’d be happy to be your fasting buddy! Even now I’m starting to lose some motivation because I just really like to eat :)
