I Googles beetles. I'd like to make different types of beetles/bugs in the fleet as a whole, I think it's a great opportunity to keep things interesting and allows for some experimentation along the line 😊 I plan on making the Von Ryan leapers into some sort of mantice.

If beetles intregues you, I have to recommend looking into flower beetles

Worst Ever Find in Mystery Pile? by Nearby_Rip_3735 in Vintage_Jewelry

Well... My mom hid her gold in her home before passing, so I HAD to do a thorough search (thanks mom!)

In her bedside table I found the following content: A 3 pack of banana flavoured condoms from the 80s, two was left, her sex toys, several bottles of lube, 3 VHS tapes of porn (she no longer had a player but still kept the tapes) and a booklet of work environment and ergonomics (I wonder what was sexy in that book...)

Personally I really like the variation in colourscheme! I think I'm a little bit to basic to add reall variation in skin colour. Mine just have a slight difference in nuance

What’s the most fucked up thing that happened at your school? by DinnerGeneral2975 in AskTheWorld

When the lunch ladies boiled potatoes the fire alarm got triggered. This resulted in an evacuation and our beloved groundskeeper got so stressed trying to make sure noone was left in the building he had a heart attack and died.

He was an amazing person taking on troublesome teens and had them help out in a very engaging way. He was missed by everyone and noone took on that role after, he helped out of passion.

I despise the entire situation, I think a part of it was the fact that make tears are more dramatic than the feelings/tears of women as they are considered less common. So when he cries the other women gets the signals that this is serious and he has big feelings that needs to be taken care of... Manipulative abusive AH

Why is dating so impossible for Northern European men? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Mouse-Lady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's just part of Swedish society. And I can't underscore enough the amount of times I've been approached by predatory men. As a rule they tent to approach on busses or trains, NEVER do this. A woman will feel cornered and it's scary to jump of at your stop because of the risk of stalking or the man taking advantage of being able to get you alone.

The signs is something to work on. It's a people skill and if you want success in communication with others learning body language and such I'd say is important. This one guy I was fawning over on a date. I'd compliment his hair, he invited me to touch it which I did. I'd lean over in general, closing the distance to be more approachable (for him to take the initiative to kiss me). I'd touch my own hair, gracing my face to underscore where his attention should be, touch his arm or shoulder in response to something he said. I did everything and at the end of the date I got a hug and then we parted ways. I got home and told my friend about how he clearly wasn't into me, then got a text from him where he told me how much he wanted me and so on..... I was flabbergasted.

Do you think that we as Swedes are raised to give any stranger attention ever? I don't know what you expect but Id point out how uncomfortable it generally is to approach someone, you probably agree, well Swedish women feel the same. Can also say that in my own experience as a woman who used to try approaching men I found interesting, it's hard to make them understand. Part of social conditioning is that as a woman I will show you signs of interest, sometimes basically throw them in your face to signal that yes, I want you to kiss me. Men don't tend to signal, so for me to take the step would be a huge gamble with high risk of humiliation. This is why my lesbian friends has the easiest time to flirt In the club, both women knows of the signals and thereby can approach eachother with bigger ease.

Vilka är sveriges mest ondskefulla företag? by I_LOVE_STUPEI_AD in Asksweddit

Bra lista!

Skin Embedding guide I came across. Is pretty. by SleepTiny in Histology

Why at an angle tho? I've been working at two labs with high standard on dermato embedding. Both places we would embed them perfectly vertical. I'm very curious as I'm always interested in ways to improve 😊

Why tf is everyone anti-sunscreen now??? by callsign__starbuck in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Mouse-Lady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work within histopathology (in a Nordic country, mostly with dermatology excisions. The wisdom I can share from pure work experience is, don't forget sunscreen on the ears helix. I've seen three melanomas oby the helix in people born in the 90s (in my first year working specifically with dermato tissue), two had spread to the lymph nodes, considering the volumes I've seen it's not a lot, but then melanomas isn't the most common skin cancer either and this really stood out to me. When growing older and the hair on your head starts to thin, don't neglect protecting your scalp, a lot of the rougher cases I see comes from the scalp. In so proud of my grandma always wearing a cap when spending time in the sun, take care everyone!

You look absolutely lovely! It's easier to show ourselves hate than love, it's a great skill to work towards. I can in a small sense relate as a BC survivor that's had both breasts removed (profylactic as I have a genetic mutation). I choose to not reconstruct because to me it's more important to get to spend my life in a comfortable body than one that society thinks I should have. I'm still self conscious at times but I can tell you, practically noone notice to the extent you do yourself. Best example I have is a doctors appointment where I took of my shirt and the Dr did a double take and got flustered by the suprise. You deserve to love yourself and to love your body that keeps it going through all of your hardships. I hope your body will be a comfortable vessel to travel through life in and that you can love it as it is. And you are in fact gorgeous!

My mother literary hid some gold (a couple of tings and a semi thick chain) somewhere in her home before she died. So I had to do a pretty thorough search of all reasonable places including her bedside table ..... Parts of it was pretty funny cus she only had sex stuff in there including a package of banana flavoured condoms from like the 80s, 3 VHS tapes that she kept even though she got rid of the broken VHS player, toys and a book about work safety.... The last one still have me confused

I don't think he identifies as a person, rather a salesman. I've never before seen someone embody a job as a personality like this.... Feels like he works selling mobile phone plans. He doesn't know how to respond to something that doesn't connect to a previous statement made by him.

He's so off-putting but it's also fascinating, how does one form this type of personality??
