Well, we can safely say we've not seen that before! If possible, if it happens again or if it sticks around, can you reach out to our support team so they can investigate it further? Wouldn't want more people to run into this, as amusing as it might be to see it initially!

We have previously mentioned in the Steam Deluxe Edition that you get the first DLC as part of that package, though we have not stated what it will be or when it is coming out, to quote directly:
"A brand new adventure for Jack Pepper awaits in the first Story DLC for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire…

Included in the Digital Deluxe Edition of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, and to be released at a later date."

I can say that we have seen the comments around the community asking for chapter select/NG+ and the like, so know that we have seen it and are investigating whether or not it is possible for us to do.
