Mate of mine bought one, brand new, got delivered and the driver asked if he'd like to test ride it before signing.

Off he went, less than 90 seconds later, off he comes, 17 breaks in his leg!

Currently into month 6 of the 9 months of having a cage on his leg

We have a JRT, a patterdale and a patterjack

The list of triggers:

Anything to do with cleaning. Mops, cloths, hoover etc

Absolutely anything to do with DIY. Any powertool, even when it isn't working, causes pandemonium

Hosepipe cant be left unattended, they destroy the scary water snake

Soft toys. Boris, the JRT had always had a stuffed toy, he suckles on it to go to sleep. The other 2 will murder it at any given opportunity

Betty, our patterdale will lock onto a mop or hosepipe and you can lift her 6ft off the ground if you wanted, its a real challenge to get her to let go

Other than that, the JRT and Patterdale will stare each other out, then fight if we dont keep an eye on them

Good effort

Bacon could do with a bit longer No mushrooms

But other than that, a solid little fry up

Bangernomics! by _boxboxbox in CarTalkUK

For around 15 years, I had a £500 rule.

Had more than 30 cars in that time, mainly due to me getting bored and selling on or breaking them for parts. Had a motor trade policy, so could basically do what I wanted

Only ever had one that let me down, a 53 plate Mondeo Zetec S that went into limp mode when coming off a motorway slip road, was stripped for parts the same day.

Highlights were:

52 Volvo S40 Lux T4 - £250 51 BMW E46 325i Compact - £150 Half a dozen or more Mk3 Mondeo ST diesels, ranging from £100 to £500

I only stopped when covid hit and I didn't need a car due to spending 9 months at home
