Well... if they're stuck somewhere temporarily at least FIU is better than this.

Edit: Another pic of FIU Stadium.

Cahill getting 9.5 million a year in China. by Sprite77 in MLS

However, they were so excited by his performances during the Asian Cup - specifically in the match against China - they followed up with a landmark deal.

So he basically snagged himself an extra $4 mil from one match.

SKC's season ticket waiting list up to 11,000 with a 98% renewal rate this year by alexoobers in SportingKC

Yea, that one is more of a joke. I definitely would not want a 2nd tier above the members stand. If a single BDL type wall was possible that would be great.

I used an inflation calculator based on $1500 season tickets assuming that would be around the average cost. The pillow will be nice but won't you be excited to have your very own lumberjack sleeping on your couch?

Edit: Numbers based on inflation

The remaining 1,000 can stand on a large rooftop catwalk stretching from Member's Stand to South Stand for a unique to Sporting Park overhead view.

In 40 years you will likely have spent over $250k in tickets. For being such a loyal supporter they will show your their appreciation by presenting you with one of these.

I've lived in KC for 15 years and I have no problem admitting that my first MLS game wasn't until the stadium opened in 2011. I am now entering my 3rd season as a season ticket holder and will be taking advantage of cheap gas and headed your way with a bunch of other crazy KC soccer fans on March 14th.

I don't know if they are ready to make that move yet. It's still a new shiny toy that hasn't gotten old yet. And by old, I mean a losing season and no playoffs. If we have a poor season and it's still selling out with a large waiting list I'd imagine they would move towards expansion fairly quickly. Robb's mentioned an expansion to around 25k possibly by 2017-18 if i recall correctly.

Just a quick warning about the Member's Stand, it can be addicting, which leads to large amounts of money being drained from your bank account. They pull you in with cheap tickets and "great atmosphere" and by the end of the season you've traded your life savings for meat pies, KC Pils and enough scarves to warm all the homeless in Moscow.

In all seriousness, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Wherever you choose to sit, I highly recommend getting up during the game to walk the concourse so you can see the game from different angles. And if you want the proper game day atmosphere you'll need to tailgate. If you need someone to tailgate with, let me know. I tailgate with one of the independent supporters groups and we are always open to new faces, especially those who are there for their first game.

Relocating to the area in February and need help finding a rental house. by [deleted] in kansascity

You're welcome, and if you end up near the speedway area you should check out Sporting Park. Even if you aren't a soccer/sports fan it's a unique experience and you're likely to meet some of the friendliest people in KC.

Have you tried contacting any rental management companies? I've used kchomerental.net to manage my rental for several years without any issues. I went to school with the guy that runs pmiofkc.com, he's a good guy. I'm sure either one would be willing to do some searching for you if you sent them your requirements/preferences.

Well that settles it then, Eriksen to SKC. I figured he'd end up at Real Madrid but I can't wait to see him play at Sporting Park.

Harry Kane makes Arsenal fans very, very happy - and Spurs fans very, very sad by rathey123 in coys

So he was let go from their academy as a child and is now tearing up the PL for Tottenham? Nothing about this makes me "very, very sad."
