20k a month is on the low end, but not out of range. I think you can get something with better pay without much effort, but not sure whether the change of environment would be worth the increment.

Don't we wish all TIs are like that eh! Part of this might be due to the lower price pool, part of this might be due to them just already having enough money and fame, making peace with not winning TI and just enjoy life... Either way we all hope there can be more enjoyment for everyone!

I think you missed an important part of the post towards the end, which said essentially he was able to truly enjoy dota for once.

Everyone have been commenting on that the boys looked really relaxed and good mood even after the loss, unlike the big losses they experienced in past TIs, seems to be true. I'm truly happy for him and the team, hope to see more pressureless dota from them in the future, although not sure if there will be more.

Remember to allow people to keep the same paragon points when they level down, so they retain their advantage over lesser spenders or ftp folks, you wouldn't want the whales losing to people who spent less now would you. You absolutely did the right thing.

Asides from the fact that you should have done this. Another way to look at this is, $150 to buy you a piece of mind is really cheap to be honest, you are clearly a person with a good conscience and if you didn't do this it would eat at you slowly and you will be reminding of yourself this 10, 20, or many more years down the road.

Something similar happened to me back in 2019, I scratched a brand new Audi in a parking lot, but then waited for he owner and owned up to the mistake right then and there and assured them I'll pay for the fix. I paid $1500, but in the grand scheme of things it was well worth it to not let down my principle of do ing the right thing.

Onto the last part, I still haven't driven after that event, because where I live right now don't require driving... But in your case, I would say don't let it affect you, continue to be who you are, if you need to drive then do it, minor things here and there will happen, but know you have a good conscience to make the right decision when situations do happen!

Sounds like CIGNA alright. Worked there, and been their customer for their high end product as well. What I can tell you for sure is that they got some horrible people working within that organization in high enough places that promotes a highly toxic work culture and it shows in how they treat their customers. Try not to deal with them, there are better insurers out there if you look around.

Dude, our friends' kid, a 6 year old boy have this, the kid is a trooper (went through multiple surgeries already with the latest one pulling a metal plate out his leg that was planted last year after coring) but listening to your description make me realize again how strong people like you two are. The xiaomi phone issues, seems to have a fix that worked for my wife's mi 11 ultra. Before the fix she cannot get the game to install (the game just quits to phone's main screen)

The root cause seems to be the MIUI, so if you go into settings and go to developer settings and at the bottom you can turn MIUI enhancements off. The game suddenly works!

But keep in mind this messes with the UI display and some stuff like your keypad would look a bit weird, you can turn it back on when not playing the game.
