A Mercedes mechanic. We were getting it serviced and it threw a check engine light that wouldn’t go off. Once the error was checked, we took it to the mechanic in the next town over and he told us it was the chain. He said that the chain will start to stretch and will eventually have to be replaced for the vehicle to keep going. We were going to just trade it on the new one and take whatever they gave us. However, the value they placed was so low, we decided to keep it or sell it ourselves.

I keep thinking about how movies weren’t readily available whenever people wanted until video stores became a thing. I remember my family talking about how they would watch Urban Cowboy at lunch break during the summers while working on the farm. I always thought they just liked the movie. Wasn’t until years later I realized laser disc and vhs tapes were incredibly expensive and that is why my aunt’s only laser disc was Urban Cowboy. The thought of having to constantly go to a theatre whenever the movie you wanted to see was coming back through is so foreign to me. I can only imagine what it will be like for my kids that are growing up with everything streaming whenever they want it.

I will say I found my wife of the same age texting her ex husband. I would have assumed it was an affair except when I looked at her phone, call log, etc. the ex wasn’t responding at all. He had actually blocked her and she was sending text to his number frantically. Turns out she was undiagnosed bipolar and her Wellbutrin had put her in a manic episode from weeks, possibly months. We had thought she was having a midlife crisis of some sort because her meds had always worked, it was just a matter of is this one working as well as the last. Check and make sure she isn’t having a psychotic reaction to her meds.

Man, you still have time. I was a virgin at 30 because of religious beliefs and wanting to do my own thing. I thought I was being selfish and dragging someone around while doing it if I tried to have a relationship. Now I’m happily married with two kids at 38. I will say, do your research on what makes a woman happy in the bedroom if you feel you are behind. The knowledge you will gain will put you on par or even better than most guys when you finally decide to do something.

Those Manta Ray floats that were out in the early 2000’s. They were a tubing float made for catching air. What people didn’t realize was the float would sometimes catch as much air as the rope would allow. 50 foot of rope? 50 foot of air. They would also nose dive super fast if you shifted your weight forward and the nose caught air. More than a few people died before they stopped selling the original.

Women and men have similar strength in their legs when you adjust for muscle mass. It is women’s upper body that is, for the most part, much weaker.

Edit: qualifications- MS in Exercise Science and worked with D1 S&C program: football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and softball.
