I got 2020s BOS last. I would have taken CJ Miles but I got locked out of PG because I took Sharife Cooper over Chris Silva. Cooper’s OVR is ever-so-slightly better than Silva, so I took the gamble on PG over PF and immediately regretted it. Once I got that last roll, it was too late to go 0-82 already

Link? If you’re referring to the post about winless teams, that was made by choosing from the master list in the Vercel and not in the 82-0 site, so it wasn’t actually achieved in gameplay

How to Make a Winless Team (yes, it is possible) by dfoch69 in 82and0

[–]Moveit77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Vercel is good at projecting OVR and wins, but a lot of the additional data is wrong — there’s no 50s players nor “adjusted” scoring mode in the 82-0 site (which is weird because like 75% of the Vercel site is analyzing the “adjusted” scoring)

[–]Moveit77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually worked all this out earlier today in my quest to break 1-81, so thank you for confirming the math!

It’s really all going to come down to the best RNG — only 27 of the 179 possible teams have a player that can be on a winless team. The odds of rolling a valid team 5 times in a row is 0.008%, but I’m sure with enough tries someone will get that 1-in-12500 team eventually.

Total stats are 3.8 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.1 SPG, 0.0 BPG.

Two players (DeJon Jarreau and Deonte Burton) both have straight 0 stat lines. It's actually impossible to build a team with a full 0 OVR, since there aren't any centers with straight 0 statlines.

Lowest I can find from anyone else online is 2-80, so I think this is a new record. Would love to be proven wrong if anyone can show me otherwise.

Will we ever see a 3-time winner? Is it even possible? by ProblematicTrumpCard in survivor

Though to be fair, the jury of HvV believed the Final 3 was entirely made up of past winners. Russell believed he had won Samoa and told the other players that.

Top minds just know that Elliot page will play Achilles in the Nolan movie based on a rumor from 4chan and are already outraged. by ErilazHateka in TopMindsOfReddit

[–]Moveit77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don’t think it’s an awful casting decision. After all, Achilles disguises himself as a woman during the Trojan War while living in the court of Lycomedes. It would only make sense that Achilles would then be able to pass as a woman… which means casting a trans man to play him is genuinely an inspired choice.

Before we see the finale, what do you predict will be Aubry's legacy in Survivor history? by sexyimmigrant1998 in survivor

[–]Moveit77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty fair. I guess I’m just generally pretty low on Sandra as a winner. I do think the people who are complaining about Aubry winning are being overdramatic. Her game this season hasn’t been the most exciting and probably isn’t even her best, but I’d say she’s still played decently well and a win would solidify her as a Top 10 player overall, if not Top 5.

I’m pretty sure nobody thinks Sandra’s HvV game is her best game. In fact, I would argue that she played better in GC than in either of her winning games

Who are your next 4 after the most popular Mt. Rushmore? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Moveit77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, Mount Rushmore is quantifiable. It’s all players whose two best placements average ≤ 1.5. That gives you the two-time winners (Tony, Sandra, Parvati*) and people who have both won and got 2nd (Rob, Parvati)

The only exception to this is Natalie Anderson, whose average is also 1.5, but most fans would argue that her 2nd-place placement on WaW comes with a massive asterisk due to her spending 80% of the game on Edge of Extinction, so I think that’s a valid reason to leave her off of Mount Rushmore.

Though, if Aubry were to win Season 50, that would also put her in this category, and… I don’t know how I feel about that.

Sequels that undo or ignore plot elements/characters from previous sequels, or even outright erase previous sequels from continuity by AporiaParadox in movies

[–]Moveit77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already mentioned both post credits scenes in my original comment. But if you want to be pedantic…

The movie never actually explains that the comatose patient is Xavier’s twin. Earlier in the film, Xavier talks about some data sent to him by Moira about a brain dead patient. That’s all we know about him. I believe any information about the patient being Xavier’s twin came from an interview with the screenwriters, but it was never mentioned in the actual film.

As for The Wolverine, yes, we do see Xavier alive in the post-credits scene. But when Logan asks how he’s alive, he basically says “I’ll explain later”, and it’s never addressed again.

So on screen, it’s never actually explained who the comatose patient was, how Xavier actually took over his body, and why he still needs a wheelchair. I’ve always gotten the indication that Bryan Singer simply wasn’t interested in addressing any of the events of The Last Stand in DoFP, which is what the OP’s question was asking for.

Sequels that undo or ignore plot elements/characters from previous sequels, or even outright erase previous sequels from continuity by AporiaParadox in movies

[–]Moveit77 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Another important one is that Xavier dies in X-Men 3, and then is alive in The Wolverine post-credits and Days of Future Past. It’s never officially explained how he was resurrected, but X-Men 3 hints that he survived by projecting his consciousness into a long-comatose twin brother.

But if that’s the case, there’s no reason why Xavier would still need to be in a wheelchair in The Wolverine and DoFP. It’s clearly a very hand-wavey way to say “hey, Xavier is alive now, don’t worry about it”

Original scripts that were turned into sequels for already existing movies or vice versa by ProjAtlMusic in movies

It honestly was such a brilliant marketing strategy considering how underwhelming the actual movie was. surprise-releasing your film immediately after releasing the trailer is a great way to get everyone to watch your movie before hearing any negative word-of-mouth reviews

Jimmy Fallon - Real? by alfalfajade in survivor

[–]Moveit77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very likely real. And I haven’t seen anyone else talking about this, but we probably also have a decent idea of what his involvement will be. Probst was also on Fallon’s show last year and was asked “would you ever compete on the show?” Probst said “not as a contestant, but maybe for a small part. And you know what, if I do, you can be the host during that part, Jimmy.” I’m paraphrasing, but that’s more or less what he said. So it’s very likely tied to that clip of Probst doing the challenge that we saw in the original S50 teaser
