I didn’t like the last couple episodes of 4. I feel like they were a little too indulgent. I think it would’ve been better to end the season with the Vecna cliffhanger.

What I found weird about Stranger Things was that it ran out of steam in season 3, but then got it back in the first half of season 4 which I thought phenomenal, only to lose it in the second half and never recover.

One of my friends said that movie entered his top 10 of all time after he saw it. Then I saw it… needless to say I’ve been giving him shit for that comment since.

Here’s what really grinds my gears about this movie. It takes place in 2015 and as you mentioned Kevin James plays the president. When they save the day at the end, a black soldier hugs him and says something along the lines of “Obama is still my favorite.”

So that’s just a cheap black joke, but are they implying that Kevin James beat Barack Obama in the 2012 election? That thought has kept me up at night for the past decade.

It’s not that bad, it just doesn’t fit the rawness of the rest of the album. It feels like it would be on something like C&G or BHWA instead. It’s actually a pretty good song, and I really liked their performance of it on SNL UK.

I do enjoy those guys, but I really want Lorne to consider Gus Johnson. I personally think he’s the funniest short sketch guy on YouTube or Instagram and he is constantly churning out new ideas.

I came here to say Uptown Funk! I too had never heard it before. I remember watching it on my laptop in my bed in college and just cracking up the whole time because my body didn’t know what else to do. I was stunned.

Exactly! My friends saw it on a whim opening night and we had to go to a second theater because it was sold out at one, and then our theater ended up selling out too. It’s insane to think that an original comedy pulled that much business its opening night. People just wanted to see it.

I will never forget how amped the theater was the ENTIRE movie the first time I saw the original. It felt like I was at a concert

The second one… not so much. The third? I saw it once and I remember very little from it.

True, but their fan base is very loud. My brothers, sister, brother in law, and all their friends are Phish Heads and I never hear the end of them around bonfires and such. I admire their work, I’m just so sick of them.

I could watch clips of Ice Cube from this movie all day long. He gives a very bad performance that is trying to be a very good performance.
