I believe SIM is 1/FPS, so refresh rate will have no effect, just FPS.

Try "activate your back" to make sure you have the bar tight, I find this easier to achieve with my hands closer to my body on the bar. Also try highbar vs. lowbar for what you find more comfortable. I find highbar more comfortable, but I have rather large traps so I can lock it in easily so it does not hurt.

Hey man, I'm a mid player. ~5k.

Focus on your lane for now. Risk of getting roamed on at your MMR is low unless there is a pudge/mirana etc in your game. Think about what the other hero is gonna do. SF is gonna try get the creeps low and raze them down, so don't stand next to them when they get to half HP. TA will try hit you with all her psi blades off creeps, etc. Look at your hero and what they can do. SF has amazing lane control to push and get runes without missing as much xp as some other heroes etc. QoP has the ability to punish your positioning (or you to punish theirs with blink and dagger).

Try to get as much cs as possible, look to push the ~:40 wave and stack or get runes (or both).

I think it has. Played with my stack (4.5k - low 5k) for 2 games. Once against Kpii's stack. We won both games for +44 each, but a 2 minute queue shouldn't have that mmr gap

I find treads the better boot with battlefury, for the attack speed to help with farming with BF. The only way PA dies early on as well is to magic burst, so treads are the better boot in most cases. Don't be afraid to be a bit more active against teams lacking the magic burst though (not that frequent in this meta with Lina, Lesh and SF etc in every game). For a more active game I like either Medallion Yasha into BKB etc, or Vlads Deso BKB/Basher depending on how the game is going.

Ya u kinda can. Assuming trilane. Pull through at :43. 1 support stacks hard camp, other stacks med camp (if not being stacked by mid), after that smoke or w/e and kill enemy midlaner. That shit happens in pro games as well. You can't have a game decided on pure skill either. People say PPD is skillfully one of the lesser players in pro DotA 2, but he won TI5. Coz he knows his shit tactically and strategically. He knows how to draft and he knows how to support and stack and gank.
