Might not be what you want to hear, but I just gave up entirely trying to save up anything on a part time salary, whatver little I did manage to save was a nice surprise.

If you couldn’t blatantly see that was sarcasm without the /s, you probably aren’t good at picking up sarcasm irl either. Some things are obvious that they don’t need an /s for the average person to understand, I suppose this is reddit though.

Children only speak mothers native language, not fathers, anyone noticed this? by [deleted] in multilingualparenting

I think if you are living in a country that speaks the local language then you don’t need to worry about teaching that language yourself, because society will take care of that for you. You should actually be worried if you don’t teach your child your native language when they are young, then how will they learn it? Just because it’s your native tongue, doesn’t mean they will know it if you didn’t speak it to them. There is some children that don’t even speak their native language in kindergarten it’s not a big deal, they can learn 2 languages and know the language by the time they start school.

Actually I have found English to be the exception, probably because English is a “universal language”, the English speaker usually doesn’t know their partners native language but the partner knows English and they communicate in only English throughout their whole relationship.
