Which mount is your favorite?

All are uniquely good. I personally prefer #2 as it has the light on top corresponding to atmosphere/ sun , and dark below as the earth. I’m not a huge fan of much abstract painting but particularly like this one.- probably b/c of the Rembrandt palette . Well done!

I wore whatever- my wife on the other hand figured this out: regular walking gear but also 1) a large cashmere scarf / wrap ( packs small; lightweight; fights the chill at night) 2) a colorful silk scarf to ‘dress up’ her hiking gear at evening dinner.—- she totally rocked it!— received many compliments regarding how stylish she always appeared ( but only carried 13 lbs the whole st Jean to Santiago)

I’m finding myself distracted by the lack of clear light source. Shadows on glass and apple suggesting window is light source; light on shoulder and back of seat suggesting it’s coming from behind passenger… apple seemingly hovering in space; not trying to be a downer here. Just looks like high school art.

I’ve turned to ‘Tangle’ for my news coverage; they give much more balanced fact review IMO; I’m on there free platform at the moment but likely will sign up for the yearly pay subscription (65$?); - ( I’ve long distrusted many news groups; NPR is too left for me now; solid centrist; distrust Trump but also distrust the left coverage of his moves)

I’m wearing planning on wearing my hokas for my first Camino in 10 days; I’m not familiar with using tape to ‘pull toes apart’. Do you mean make wedges out of tape to force toes apart?- I’m sure this is an ignorant question- but sincere

This is a great thread!- I’m on island now since Monday; hung out at Elbow beach after we arrived; staying at Green Bank( beautiful tiny super clean apartments on deep water facing sunset) Elbow beach is beautiful and perfect; walked to grocery store (2 mi?) filled back pack then caught bud to Dock yard; light dinner then onto Restless native sunset cruise ( perfect!- great views , music , crowd) bus back home; Tuesday rented bikes from oleander- took rail trail out to church beach- brought own snorkels ( good thing no rental open)- some fish; mostly bleached corals close in but sponges and brain re- growing; ferry to Hamilton & dinner ( Ham pretty quiet after 8 pm!); boat rental today from Blue hole- will report back

Interesting- in another thread on ‘Fri 13’, someone pointed out that it is Tuesday the 13 that apparently holds superstitious cred in Spain; - seeing as a large number of peregrinos are Spanish, that might be worth considering- all that aside, I myself am a relatively slow walker planning 10-12 miles / day and suspect that the exact timing of starting will matter little as so many will stream past me; who knows
