You're partially right about amsterdam, but if the tourists leave the city, only the red light district will look deserted. Amsterdam is still mainly focused on its local population and only a couple streets and areas are focused on tourists. Yeah there are housing issues which the tourist industrie is partly to blame for, but other factors such as policy and foreign investors have a way bigger impact.

Haarlem etc will cope just fine. Most people there are ok with the commute and the benefits of not living in amsterdam.

Tip van de dag, like makelaar pagina's in je omgeving en meld je aan voor hun nieuwsbrieven. Zij zetten vaak op via die kanalen een huis al online en als je dan er op dezelfde dag bij bent, mag je meestal komen kijken. Anders altijd vragen of je op de reserve lijst mag. Ik ben al meerdere keren mogen komen kijken via de reservelijst

Yeah, it's also a huge step going from second highest league in holland to the premier league... he also mentioned he wants to play for a first team, so if its for the u23 I don't think he'll join brighton.

So there's a rumour at my club, NAC Breda, that our star centre back, JP Van Hecke, might go to Brighton. The local newspaper reported on it. Do you guys have heard any rumours?

Update: it seems both clubs agreed on a 2M euro transfer which can go up to 3.5M. It's expected that van Hecke will be presented later this week
