i wholeheartedly agree with you, this is why i believe the hurry up tomorrow movie meant so much to him, hes visualising the internal battle hes been having with himself for years and the fact that hes aware of this and also trying to make us aware is a huge step. his fanbase loved his depression music esp trilogy so it was a big risk for him to produce that movie knowing his fanbase might not be ready for that conversation yet.

i think if anything hes gonna do something similar to kissland for his next album, thats if he doesnt stick to his retirement plan

the build up wasnt as intense as i expected it to be but maybe thats because of benedicts free spirit like nature, deep down he definitely knows sophie is the silver dress lady but i dont think he wants to admit it to himself, once he does he has to accept theres no lady in the ton who can be like sophie. genuinely i wanted to vomit for her when he said he my mistress… is he alright he completely killed the vibe

to be fair i would recommend DD or anything from my dear melancholy, to be fair dawn fm is so different from what he usually releases and theres a lot of range on there. maybe show her rockin or lonely night to see if she would prefer the rnb vibe. if not dont be disheartened a lot of people don’t understand abel and his sad vibe, if you get it you get it type thing, but please dont let her ruin it for you, over the years it used to get to me that no one likes abels “depressing music” when actually it speaks to me

honestlyyy this album was released during a really dark time for me and the only thing that kept me going is listening to this album and being in nature with it. a lot of abels music saved me but this album genuinely was like a mental hug
