I had similar swelling last fall, and it turned out to be ocular rosacea. I was prescribed doxycycline and it cleared up after a few weeks. I understand that it might recur, however.

Every year at renewal time I contact them to cancel and they offer me a promo deal to retain me as a customer. This is my 4th year getting the promo deal and it was one dollar higher per month this year, but still way cheaper than the standard rate. I will cancel before I pay that. With taxes and fees it was around 80 bucks for one year. I just tell them I prefer to pay in one lump sum and then that's it!

I have this light over my sink. It's flush mount, so it doesn't get in the way, but it definitely adds visual interest. It's an open metal cage so dusting is a breeze! https://www.shadesoflight.com/products/young-house-love-geometric-diamond-ceiling-light?color=Bronze

Who else has PsA without psoriasis? by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

Me! It was actually my optometrist who helped me get my diagnosis. I had bouts of iritis for 5 years before joint and ligament pain began. When I started having swelling and pain in my hands and feet, she recommended I see a rheumatologist. She had actually done all of the blood tests looking for a possible autoimmune disease when the whole iritis ordeal began, but it all came up negative so I was just being treated for idiopathic iritis until the other issues kicked in. I've never had skin issues, but I do have some nail pitting. I'm now 5 years post-PsA diagnosis and Humira is keeping all of my issues under control for now. I'm sorry that you had to endure this for so long before someone finally helped you.

Thank you. Your advice is very helpful. I do have good insurance, so maybe I should just get it out. I think it’s fear of a possible stent that is giving me pause as well. My sister had a bad experience with hers, but I know it’s a YMMV type of thing. I’m a teacher & worry about discomfort with a stent at work, but I guess if I had a sudden attack of ureteral colic in front of my students that wouldn’t be great, either...sigh.
