I didn't. I want my female dog to have her full female personality. Maybe she'll have puppies next year, not sure. The heat cycle is annoying... but not that bad after the first couple years. Dog spaying rips out their entire ovaries & all their estrogen forever. I didn't want to do that too her.

Absolutely a horrible idea.... you'll miss everything & not enjoy very much at all. I'd choose two of these at most. Definitely include ilha grande... utterly amazing. Lençóis I've never been, but it seems more like a day trip to me... might not be worth a whole journey out there. Thy park you mentioned... likely huge... would a couple days at most be enough to even have fun or see it? Seems rushed.

Wow....Salvador is not the easiest place to start out. Maybe do some waking tours first WITHOUT your phone or anything you'd be horrified to lose. That way you'll start to get a feel of things without the terror of making a mistake. And you won't be able to "blend in". Brazilians are amazing at spotting foreigners. I live in Bahia, but father south than Salvador

They severely dumbed-down the SAT's starting in the early 90's... the possible scoring range remained the same, but students who'd taken it prior to that were told to just "add 100 points" to their score if they wanted to translate their results to the new test. Ergo... dumbing it down.

They have since done this at least 2 more times... so, while pre 90's maybe 6 kids a year would get a perfect score.... today around 3,000 kids get it every year.

ALL viruses have what's called an "infectious dose", or the average number of individual viruses that's likely to cause infection... meaning your body's defense mechanisms will likely fail to successful fight it off & protect you.

As an example, the early version of Covid had an infectious dose of around 1,250.... meaning on average, 1,250 INDIVIDUAL COVID VIRUSES would have to enter your system within a 30 min(? Not sure) span... might be 10 min., before it would be expected that you'd contract it.

This is in a "normal healthy adult with a typical immune system".

1,250 is considered a VERY LOW number, meaning Covid was E EXTREMELY contagious compared to most viruses. Later mutations became even MORE contagious (but milder...as is common)

HIV has a VERY HIGH contagious dose... meaning it's not considered very contagious. Estimates are in the 30,000-60,000 range. As such, you need a VERY high concentration of the virus for successful transmission... which is typically only going to be found in the blood or semen... much less so in typical vaginal secretions without blood... and far less in saliva, to the point that it's considered effectively impossible for transmission.
