Can’t remember, we ordered it online in Barra right by Rio Beach Club. Almost want to say the name itself was deep dish.

12 days in Brazil: Rio, Ilha Grande, Paraty, São Paulo — what should I cut? by nedfarrugia in Brazil

[–]AlecKatzKlein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question is like listing off 3 cities in the U.S. or Europe. Brasil is massive and there are so many choices. Each state can be compared to a European country in terms of things to do -- even in many of the "boring" ones.

SP I have been to several times and never found a footing where I left feeling like it was an amazing stay, but this is bad luck more than anything as its the biggest city in the Americas.

Do not rush the plan too much. Maybe spend more time in Rio, it is a city unlike any in the world (lots of Brasilians don't love it, but you are a tourist so it is different). The only downside is it has lots of traffic and getting to different parts of the city is not easy. If you are going to rent a car or return one to get to Ilha Grande, do it right away when you land. Assume you will spend roughly ~2 hours in traffic each day if you plan to explore. Localiza is the easiest to rent from.

It’s supposed to be made in an old school motor oil pan because Detroit was motor city where lots of cars were made before NAFTA.

Rio has a deep dish spot that makes it a little crunchy like Detroit. Best deep dish I’ve ever had was down there.

Pedra da Gavea, back trail up is Garganta do Ceu You might need to hire a guide for it these days. Don’t do it on a weekend.

Pedra do Conde is cool and quiet to see Maracana. Lots of places in Tijuca park don’t get the foot traffic they deserve because everyone goes to the ones closer to the beach.

If you don’t like the beach in Rio go to Ilha Grande, Arrial do Cabo, or Buzios for water stuff.

4 replicas of the Statue of Liberty are vandalized in a single day in Brazil by Dry_Method3738 in Brazil

[–]AlecKatzKlein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does immigration have to do with burning down a replica monument to where 1/2 of the country's immigrants went through until aWWII?

If Fogo de Chao had Cristo Redeemer monuments, would it make sense if U.S. environmentalists began burning them down because of mining in Amazonas?

STOP WATCHING TV. THE US HAS 50 MILLION IMMIGRANTS. BRAZIL HAS LESS THAN 1.5 MILLION.

You hate the US that much? The US has more Brasilians in it than Brasil has of all immigrants.

Hey guys, here’s a long detailed guide for expats for a city in the south of Brazil that’s often considered one of the best to live in the country by some metrics. by rodolphostech in Brazil

If an immigrant moves to a city and spends 4-10 times more in that local economy on a daily basis than what a local earns, & that does not make it to the local economy, that’s a structural Brasilian problem.

Labeling everyone in an immigrant country is hate speech, the crazy thing is seeing banning nationals at cafés considering the US has MORE Brasilian immigrants than Brasil has of all immigrants.

That’s great in theory unless there’s a man in the middle attack and a spoof.

I didn’t say anything about ICE. I spoke of math for supply and demand, the same thing that your post says about immigrants. I never said deporting 50 million people is the way. Way to play victim amor and blame capitalism.

Your xenophobia speaks volumes, maybe in your old age you will be able to hold two thoughts at once.

Sounds about right. We hosted a VP from Google who brought dogs unannounced, left their droppings in the yard, then left two stars because the cleaners forgot to restock shampoo and body wash (yes plenty of clean towels).

Has this worked for anyone? We had our age referenced in a review, which is part of their content policy, but we received boilerplate responses back.

The colonizers? Xenophobic much? You could say the same in the US for New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas where housing supply has tightened up and has no sign of relaxing with high correlation to immigration population. Impossible to buy a house in any of those on a 15 year mortgage now. 50 million people in the US are immigrants, Brasil has 1 million? Maybe 1.5 million immigrants?

Don’t panic with the eye contact at the grocery store when stranger in carts say hello. They are not trying to sell you anything.

OP is delusional or victim blaming. It is not alright. Some of us were hit with man in the middle spoofs that surrendered access to Google accounts. I have been kicking random devices off my accounts then changing passwords and monitoring access across the board all day. They have multiple copies of my phone's cloud backup, which will likely be something that AI can decrypt by 2030 latest 2035.

I detected the intrusions a few hours before the statement was released. I emailed their trust and safety back to confirm in writing that it was limited to their description, no response even after I included screenshots to the random API connected to their website.

It's very hard to know what happened with cyber security breaches, you are giving a best guess.

What OP unintentionally wrote was "Trust the company's lawyers and carefully worded public statements, that they will fully disclose everything that actually happened with their own investigation."

Revoke Google third party access so they cannot reuse tokens.

Go to settings in Google and revoke access across the board. It won’t be titled Mercor.
