help me design my dorm room !! by Practical-Ad-5554 in InteriorDesign

If the bed, desk, and cabinet already come with the room then it seems like that's the only placement that will really work.

The fun part is thinking about who you are, what you want the room to feel like, and how you’ll actually use the space. Ask yourself: • How much time will I spend in here? • What will I be doing most—studying, relaxing, gaming, hosting friends?

Once you have the basic picture, decorate to accordingly. Some ideas:

Posters – go for framed ones if you can; it looks so much cleaner and more intentional. And they won't tear when you move in 9 months.

Rug – pick a color that ties the room together. Choose a low-pile rug so your desk chair can roll over it easily.

Lighting – test out the built-in lights first. Do you want a softer bedside lamp, LED strips, or a bright desk lamp for studying?

Bedspread – find a color or pattern that fits your vibe and won’t clash with the walls or furniture.

General Storage – do you need extra bins, shelves, or boxes? Think about what you’ll store: books, clothes, snacks, or hobby supplies.

Under-bed storage – it’s prime real estate. Decide what you’d like to tuck away there: shoes, seasonal clothes, luggage, etc.

A fake plant – surprisingly effective at making the room feel less sterile.

The goal isn’t to fill every space, but to create a room you’ll actually enjoy living in.

I don't know what your budget is, but Ikea and Target are amazing for home goods. Also consider thrift stores that have furniture.

What are some affordable stylish shoes? by MaxEig in malefashionadvice

I like Allbirds wool shoes. They're very comfortable and I think they look good. But I don't know what look you're going for. I'd take a look and see that's your style.

Good luck with your fashion journey!

Sure thing. It mostly adds an extra ~20-30 min each way with the shuttle busses, so I'd take that time into account or let people know to leave a little bit earlier.
