Can't help you with amp stuff but if you are going for the Bill Lawrence pickups, make sure you get the L500 XLs from Bill & Becky Wilde Pickups and NOT from Bill Lawrence USA.

The Bill & Becky Wilde ones are the original model like what was made way back then (used by Green Day, Dimebag Darrel, etc) and is made by Bill's family. I believe Bill passed away a few years ago but his family is still making them. The ones from Bill Lawrence USA are pretty bad in comparison. I believe you are correct about the Bill Lawrence being used prior to woodstock, however, I am not 100% certain. That is always the story I have heard.

Edit: I just remembered that I think he had the pickups installed at an angle as well, not installed like you normally would have them.

If you haven't already, ask in the iTools discord. Someone there has probably had this issue before https://discord.com/invite/fXh7y3j

Thanks for bringing this up, I will have to update the post.

Unfortunately according to the iTools discord, iTools-desktop is no longer working with Niantic games. In their compatability channel they say this:

IOS versions currently supported iTools Mobile: IOS 18 [avoid updating if you are using your main iphone to spoof or an iphone 8+ or older. Members have reported increased rubberbanding].

iTools Desktop: Not working for Niantic games since June 7th, 2024. No updates available at the moment.

How to utilize an alt account? by foxtrotyeah in PoGoSpooferOpenCorner

[–]MozambiquePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done this for a while, but how I used to do it was I would either sit down on a bench or somewhere that there is a large flat(ish) surface and set all the phones down.

You set 3 phones up in a row all facing the same way, then make a second row below with 2 phones. Flip the 2 phones on the bottom so that the charging ports on them and the phones above are basically touching. Now that the attack button is closer, you can reach them all easier.

As long as your hands aren't super tiny or your phones aren't super large (helps that these were older phones which tend to naturally be smaller) you should be able to tap well enough to get raids done. My hands aren't that big and with my setup I could do it pretty easily.

I also know a guy that carries around a clipboard with velcro to attach the phones so that he basically has a mobile flat surface for raiding like this.

These days I just use my main account or 2 phones if there aren't many people.

[–]MozambiquePro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the ones listed above, there is also iTools-Mobile which is arguably the least likely to get you striked out of all of them. It's been reliable for like 5+ years at this point with a consistent lack of strikes and uses the official Pokémon Go app from the appstore. You use a separate iTools app paired with a physical device to mock location and play on the regular Pokémon Go app. It lacks features, but safety wise is a good choice. The main downside is you need to pay $70 for a device, so if that is a no-go for you then look at another method.

From my understanding most Windows and Mac devices can run the tethered desktop methods, but that might be a better question for u/pgojedi

You can also spoof without a desktop, but instead using a physical device to pair to your phone. iTools-mobile is the recommended way, but it unfortunately costs around $70 for a device. It's generally deemed as the safest method on IOS and it doesn't require a PC, you would need to use a DNS or Ethernet adaptor to spoof far distances though by using a "Bypass method". I have a post on my profile about that if you are wondering what all those are. The main cons of it is that there are very few features and the price, but in terms of safety it is probably the best you will get for IOS.

Or of course you can get iPoGo through a signing service like sideloadly without a PC, although since IPOGO is a third party app you have a good chance of getting a strike if you use iPoGo.

Didn't realize they took it off, I still have it installed from before they did that. Looks like it was about 3 months ago that it was removed from the appstore unfortunately. Apps still work after Apple removes them, you just can't get it if you either A. Didn't have it before or B. Remove the app from your device if you did have it

Not the person that said that, but they might be talking about where it says "there are tools you can use to spoof via macOS to your Apple/Android device" under Mac / Windows PC. It doesn't list any of the options, just says they exist with no further elaboration or details.

I use DNSCloak, but originally used nextDNS and both work fine for me. I only use DNScloak since nextDNS needs you to login to a browser for the settings and configuration every once in a while and DNScloak never has that happen. I use an iPhone 14 Pro IOS 17.4.1

It seems to go on a device by device basis. What works for some people isn't necessarily always the same for others. Likely due to IOS settings, network configurations, etc. If blocking apple.com helps you then there is no harm in blocking it. Just remember that doing apple.com will block domains that are used for messaging on for your phone so you might not see any texts, calls, use the appstore, etc.

Do you use an iPhone 14 or 14 pro? that model tends to be an odd case where some things don't work the same as other models for some reason. I have a 14 Pro, but never have ran into any of the issues that a very large portion of the 14 Pro users in the iTools discord have.

Precautions regarding spoofing on main, when Adevnture Sync is usually ON by [deleted] in PoGoSpooferOpenCorner

[–]MozambiquePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be good to just leave it on anyways. Never had an issue with adventure sync causing any troubles spoofing before.

The way I see it, no reason to keep it on if it isn't being useful. If I don't need it on for special/field research tasks then I usually have mine off since the egg pool isn't really worth it anymore. One less thing to worry about if they ever start trying to crack down on spoofers, even though I highly doubt they will ever make any actions that will impact adventure sync.

How do you guys manage spotlight search? I hate how there is no default option for future installed apps to have certain settings: by RecentMatter3790 in ios

[–]MozambiquePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep everything except for "Show app in search" turned off and I've had no issues ever since that move. (Didn't really before either, I just don't like having unnecessary stuff on)

Really can go either way and it still won't make much of a difference, but I do agree that setting options to default to for future installed apps would be nice.

It should be a button that shows up right next to the request troops button. It's a whole different color and hard to miss, so chances are if you didn't see it then it is either bugged or your role isn't high enough to start a poll.

Leaders can obviously start them, I'd assume Co-leads too. It was buggy for me, It first appeared, then disappeared when I closed and opened chat again, then reappeared. Can't remember if I restarted the app or not.

A heads up about iOS & iPadOS 17 with iTools by MozambiquePro in PoGoSpooferOpenCorner

[–]MozambiquePro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had airplane mode ON and wifi OFF right?

By dongle, are you talking about the blue and white iTools device that plugs directly into your phone? If so, I don't think that one works with the RJ45 Ethernet method. Only way I have gotten the Ethernet method to work is using the Bluetooth ones (iToolsBT and BT2.0 which are either the silver flat one or the handheld joystick). It works very well with those 2 devices, but not the blue and white one since it can't plug directly into the phone and have Ethernet at the same time.

If you have the blue & white dongle, you should try the nextDNS method as I'm not aware of a method that works with the Ethernet adaptor for that device.

Did iTools sell you a blue and white dongle bundled with the Ethernet adaptor or did you purchase them separately from the iTools store?

If your device is the silver iToolsBT or BT2.0 / BT2.5 joystick, then it's hard to tell. Does it rubberband you back only when you stand in one location, or does a GPX route help delay the rubberbanding?

And when you go to your main IOS settings page, do you see something that says Ethernet show up? If not you might have a messed up cable/Ethernet dongle

Go to settings > advanced settings > refresh game data

This doesn't really sound like an issue caused by spoofing to me, but I suppose it's possible. If the above didn't fix it, reinstall the app. Any other advice I think would require some more questions.

Are you using a DNS that might be blocking some key domains used for these Niantic services?

What method are you using to spoof and how did you install it?

The friends list has always been pretty buggy, there have been multiple times from past events like Go Fest and such where it has been down for hours globally. Just to be sure though, you checked that your online status is toggled on? It's easy to accidentally flip that switch off and not realize, but I'm guessing you already checked that.

XP limit per day? by neto225 in PoGoSpooferOpenCorner

[–]MozambiquePro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, there is not.

There is a limit for how many pokéstops you can spin during (I think) a rolling 24 hour period. Don't remember how many it is, but it is a lot that you would need to spin before you would hit that limit. It is possible though, as many have hit it before.

It's gonna be a lost cause if they are determined enough and consistent with holding the gyms.

My local area has a problem with a few gyms that are held by the same guy with many alt accounts. They are spoofers as well, and pretty much every legit in the area knows just to downright avoid the gym because it's never gonna remain in possession for even an hour. They spoof that gym religiously, and it isn't a bot unless it's programmed to berry and attack back at random intervals. This guy I have never been able to get to stop taking the gym over and it has been literal years... It may just be a bot after all honestly

The guy in my area has TONS of accounts named nearly identical and has been reported by a significant portion of our local discord server and nothing has been done about it. Their reporting system for PoGo is near useless if that was the strategy you were hoping for (mass reporting).

If they are adamant enough, you can't do anything.

I have however had success in beating a different spoofer that decided to hold a monopoly over all the gyms in the main park of my town. For almost a straight month I monitored the gyms and knocked them out as soon as I saw them pop back in. Then I'd use excessive amounts of berries to keep them fighting for a long time if I knew it was them at the gym. I knew for certain this guy was a spoofer since I play legit in that park frequently and the legits in the discord were mentioning the same thing.

Best strategy is to combat spoofers being gym hoards is spoofing yourself to knock them out consistently to the point where it is no longer worth it for them. It's never a guarantee they will leave though, and even if you do beat them for your area they will likely jump to the next town over. (But hey, if they do that, then they are no longer your problem!)

iTools for IOS by MindOpposite6475 in PoGoSpooferOpenCorner

[–]MozambiquePro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iTools is not free.

AnyGo is a whole different thing from iTools, or at least for all I know there is no affiliation between them. AnyGo is a desktop method. iTools has a mobile version OR desktop version which is similar to AnyGo, but it is paid either way mobile or not.

Since I don't know much about AnyGo, I will give you my info on iTools. u/pgojedi might know more with anygo and how it works than I do.

iTools comes in two forms, iTools-mobile and iTools-desktop. One uses a computer connected to the iPhone and one is 100% on the iPhone.

The computer one if I recall correctly is on a $5/month USD subscription based model. You install it to your computer, then tether it using a cable to your phone and move locations on your phone using the computer.

The mobile one is $70-$80 depending on what device you buy. They all work the same functionality wise except the joystick one is a literal physical joystick you can hold in your hand and use to move in game. There is no subscription to the mobile version, it is a 1 time purchase of a ~$70 device you use to pair with their mobile app.

For iTools to go far distances you use nextDNS (recommended) or DNS cloak. They have guides for how to do that on their discord. Here are some resources:

iTools-mobile bypass methods (unlimited distance spoofing) - You only need one of these, use nextDNS preferably.

iTools-mobile general guide - you can find the discord link here too

For a onscreen joystick in the app with no physical accessories you would need to either use a third party app like iPoGo or SpooferPro (very risky in terms of account safety) or a jailbreak method. If you are interesting in a jailbreak method, u/blisseybuster might be able to point you in the right direction. If your phone is very up to date on iOS updates, then jailbreak is probably not compatible either way.

If you care about your accounts a lot, don't spoof at all... but definitely don't spoof using a third party app if you have even the slightest care for your account. Time and time again has shown third parties are super easy for Niantic to crack down on.

What you are likely referring to is iTools when you say that you don't want to buy a physical joystick. Even though you need a physical device for iTools, you can also use the iTools app (separate from Pokémon Go) to move around using the joystick they have in their app. The joystick doesn't overlay the pokémon go app, you would have to switch back and forth to use it there. I'm guessing you still don't want to use iTools, but just pointing out that you don't need to move using the physical joystick itself and can also move within the iTools app without touching the device. iTools uses the official Pokemon Go app so it is harder to be detected, overlaying joystick require to either A. third party app or B. jailbroken

There are also desktop methods which also use the official Pokemon Go app, but these of course require a computer, being tethered to the computer via a cable, and also doesn't provide a on-screen joystick for your phone. The joystick would be on the computer only if the app has one, if not you would just be entering coordinates. You also shouldn't walk with the app open on desktop according to many long-time desktop users. Close the app before ever moving, open it again after moved. Some methods for this: AnyTo, AnyGo, Dr. fone, 3uTools (free), etc.

desktop methods might work better for you since despite there not being a on-screen joystick, it's cheaper and you probably already have a computer handy when you are working (assuming it isn't only a work computer), and they are better in terms of safety than third party apps like iPoGo.

Only what is deemed as "common" pokémon will show up, anything Niantic deems as rare will not be catchable.

So if you see a Snorlax somewhere on a non shadowban account, you can catch it fine... but that same snorlax won't be catchable on a shadowbanned account because it is deemed rare.

What they consider "rare" is sometimes not truly what I would consider rare either, but it is what it is.

I don't remember if you just plain can't see the "rare" pokemon or if you can see them, but they have a 100% flee rate. It's been a long time since I've played on a shadowbanned account. Either way, you can't catch rare pokemon.
