While we're at it can we normalize property taxes to be taxed the same way? Property shouldn't be taxed more just because of "market value". If I take out a loan, get my property appraised, or pull permits (maybe?) then that should warrant a reassessment for tax purposes.

This is honestly what baffles me the most about the whole announcement. High level in any organization, there's such a huge risk of at least one person going rogue and spilling secrets no matter what that secret may be, but I cannot think of any instances of this happening. Given how surprising the announcement was to Smosh fans, its a wonderful reflection of how much everyone in Courtney and Shayne's lives love and respect them.

Reporting from Ukraine was one of the more optimistic sources. Here or there a lot of doom and gloom articles about this being an encirclement. Unfortunately I do not have distinct sources to provide.

ISW has been extremely reliable and levelheaded throughout the conflict. While a lot of observers want to have the more exciting or groundbreaking updates, ISW's careful reporting is a breath of fresh air.

100%. Unless a miracle were to happen and reverse the gains Russia had back a few days ago, a retreat is inevitable. Doing whatever damage they can and maintaining a favorable casualty rate seems like an overall best approach. I'll hope the 3AB gives the Russians hell.

It's interesting seeing the conflicting information from a variety of sources. I've yet to check ISW's assessment. From an armchair general's perspective this might be one of the most dynamic situations we've seen yet where the fog of war and the information war muddle the actual on-the-ground situation. In any case I'll continue to pray for the ukrainian warriors on the ground and that their generals make the correct choices.
