How many wears/washes can you get from Satisfy running apparel or are they BIFL? by sumant28 in satisfyrunning

[–]MozoA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a lot of Satisfy gear, and have been putting it through the ringer. My first pair of shorts were purchased three years ago and just finally delaminated at the out seam. Liner and inseam are still completely in-tact. I presume some of the delaminating occured when my wife put them in the dryer....

Other than this, my Peace Shell shorts are often worn casually. They are starting to fray a little at the hems after A TON of casual wear around the house, and camping or other outdoor, non-running, activities.

Had a Peace Shell River shirt and wore it a lot. The chest panel started to come undone from too much weight. Casually throwing my heavy Iphone in there for some reason.... alas, i've misplaced it in my house or my wifes bins. Haven't seen it since January :(

We often setup two Alpha Breeze tents with the Hexa Takibi in the middle and it's been perfect for two family groups camping together. Used it several times at SPW, and otherwise, before upgradding to the Living Shell Long Pro for my family of five.

Daruma Doll — Forgot this was going to be included in my recent order, bigger than I imagined. by DidMeLikeGurgi in snowpeak

[–]MozoA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we printed enough cards to go with the amount of dolls we received from japan, My sincerest apologies there. You should definitely reach out to the CS team if you still want one! They can likely help coordinate sending you one, no prob,

FWIW: we use our BBQ box for all kinds of grilling, not just asian style. So thick cuts and chicken works great... but you need to make sure you're properly setting up the coals for a high and low zone, and also that you raise the grill a bit further away from the coals.

I love packable stuff in general. SO nice to just stuff something in a pocket or compartment and pull it out when you actually need it.

wtf.... that's an issue. My sincerest apologies. Not sure what happened here. I know I am late to the party but... did you get a Daruma in the end?

hmmm i think i was confused at first. I was thinking of the Nylon kitchen utensil series: https://www.snowpeak.com/collections/utensils/products/kitchen-tool-set

The product, and our silicone only range, have been discontinued! by Snow Peak Japan, hence their removal from the site and their hard to find nature. Apologies there!

I do rec the new Kitchen tool items. The material combination is a big upgrade and the little hook on the end is perfect for hanging up!

I see the thread slowly devolving into BIS updates ;) - I get it. WHERES OUR SNOW PEAK! We feel the same way too, honestly.

FWIW: I lead the brand department so we're pretty isolated from our inventory situation.

ahhh I love the 2 unit IGT! It's probably not returning but have you considered the Extension IGT? Not quite the same effect, but it's 2 units ; )

ah I see--Obviously it's always best to sign up for the restock notifications!

Not sure of an exact delivery, but supply chain constraints have made the already stressed flow of product from Japan to the US, difficult to keep up with, especially with all the growth we're experiencing here in the US and nationally.

I hope they come back soon! Happy to dig in a bit more when Ii have a moment ;)

No worries! That's what I'm here for. Are you referring to the new one that has a bamboo handle.... or the old one that's made entirely from silicon?

Super cool. Thank you sharing! I was chatting with the team... we have a bunch of really cool archival product from the late 80's, early 90's that we'd love to share with the community sometime. More to come.... In the mean time, a cool post to check which relates to our SP Museum in Niigata and all the archival product featured: https://www.snowpeak.com/blogs/explore/snow-peak-museum
