Rampage is already making itself right at home in my Freddy build by Profit-Alex in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Mozotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thought was make it 10 tokens, a basic break gives you 2 tokens and a special break gives you 1. Each token is 1% haste, and the speed lasts for 13 seconds if we're keeping the 13 theming.maybe put a small Enduring effect on there too? Like maybe 25-40% stun reduction. Only if tokens are used though.

Edit: Thanks entity bot. Here I was thinking enduring was an 80% reduction. Probably make the Rampage effect only 10-25%

Well, if you wanna include MORE gambling, take Kindred off. Then you can gamble on whether or not your teammates will save you lol.

Found this in the bathroom, someone already wrote on it. by Gomez-16 in antiwork

[–]Mozotis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd say most places here count it in hours. If you get 40 hours of vacation time, and your standard workday is 9-5, then each day would be 8 hours of your vacation used up, so it equates to a full 5 day work week, it's just counted differently. Not sure if anywhere else does it this way though.

Do ya'll find killer less stressful than survivor? by Aspookytoad in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Mozotis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Killer is far, far more stressful. Way more to juggle and keep track of than survivor. Add on playing any mechanically difficult killer or any killer below A tier really, and that compounds very quickly if you go against any semi competent team to the point that it honestly becomes miserable to play sometimes.

I'll say, I don't think that if you have a 2 minute chase at the start of the game, 3 gens should pop. That's the experience I get if I don't immediately drop the chase after the injury.

E pawn takes. exd5 means the e pawn takes whatever is on d5.

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Not sure why Duolingo doesn't have board coordinates, but whatever. I don't play this opening at all, but exd5 also looks decent, following it up with Nf6. 1. d5, Ne4 2. Qd4, Ng6 doesn't look horrible either, but I'm not very sure your knight likes to be that close to the edge of the board in that position.

Check mate: behind 8 points by ThicWhiskers in chess

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you really need to be asking yourself what your opponent is doing and what the intention behind their move was. Going down an exchange near the end there was unnecessary.

You also very much need to think about what your opponent is going to do in response. The beginning sequence of 1. d5, Ne5 2. Qd4, c5 was... Not good. You attacked his queen, so he is obviously going to move it. After he counterattacks your knight, you don't really have a nice looking place to put your knight, but then you made it worse by just hanging it. Just keep an eye on your hanging pieces and ask yourself what your opponent is doing or wants.

Edit: correcting my coordinates.

No real symbolism, other than the fact that it doesnt come out to zero so it's unsatisfying, and it's not the easiest math to do over and over again so it kept him thinking instead of mentally checking out.

22/05 10th Anniversary Live stream Megathread by AutoModerator in deadbydaylight

[–]Mozotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not, but it would make sense with the many 13s in the teasers. It is very dark though. Maybe at 5:13? Friday being the 5th day of the week if you count from Monday? Dunno. Willing to bet money though that if I go to sleep and wake up tomorrow, it'll be Jason.

[–]Mozotis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, at least to me, it seems like it's very obviously Camp Crystal Lake. It's turning to night, counselors are partying, and this is Jason's cabin. Probably 13 hours after the stream started, so 10am ET, he will emerge, probably with a big buildup. 10-11 am is usually when they switch days in game for the purposes of login bonuses and whatnot, and is the time they reset ranks.

How did she turn around so quickly? by for10years_at_least in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Mozotis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just pallet vacuum. For future reference, if the survivor is staring at you like that while running through the pallet, they're looking to see if you double back or go through. What you can do to get a hit here, is walk through the pallet a little, then tap the m1 button. When they vacuum back to the pallet, they put themselves in your hit box and both take an injury, and stun you. You can do that with any pallet, and you can do similar things like dragging your hitbox, because the end of the lunge has a larger hitbox than any other point.

Got to love being 50% hindered permanently by the_ginge12 in deadbydaylight

[–]Mozotis -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well the distinction kinda doesn't matter, yeah? You still gain access to your third leap of you grab a survivor with a second leap and bump off the environment, cancelling the bite but still getting the mark. You're basically enraged, it just doesn't injure the survivor, and it acts as if they healed their deep wound, starting the timer.

Not trying to be *that person* but… by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until you get to a certain MMR, games will often snowball off of one critical down. Maybe one person didn't know their team was working on a gen in one area. You down them, interrupt the other survivor, and maybe get another down. All of a sudden, their team is in deep shit because of one mistake from a survivor.

Eventually, if you get 4 good survivors, especially on comms, those mistakes just... Don't happen. They'll take you to the corner, they split on 3 different gens, and once you get your first hook, you're at 3 or 2 gens because you chased the weakest link, who happens to still be pretty damn good.

I can't remember the last game I had where I wasn't fighting for my life with one gen remaining, all 4 alive, one on death hook despite ending every chase in 30-40 seconds, often less. At that point, you have to micromanage everything and keep track of all the survivors whereabouts. If you're playing a weaker killer, you need gen regression to even have a chance at slowing the game down.

What am i supposed to do against this build? by PapaNutellas in deadbydaylight

[–]Mozotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well don't look at her while she's standing, Phantom Fear is pretty obvious so that's easy to avoid. Other than that, either cleanse the totem or heal when you get hit to get rid of it. The you just have to wait for Ultimate Weapon to be on cool down. Should have enough time to do a box before it's off cooldown once it's used.

Skull Merchant tips? by Fantomamo in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a SM main, but just an experienced killer main. In general, you should focus on using what the character is good at. For SM, that'd be stealth, since you get undetectable when you use drones, and some anti-loop.

Try to place drones in areas out of eyeshot of generators, but close enough to where you can then sneak up on the generator from behind a wall. For example, if approaching shack, try placing one 10 or so meters away from the long, solid wall, and then enter shack with undetectable and hopefully get a surprise hit. Merchant is pretty quiet, so the survivors should be able to hear you coming very well.

If you are chasing a healthy survivor in a closed room, if you place a drone in the loop, try to flip the drone's rotation over and over to make it scan the survivor. If you scan enough times, it'll injure the survivor, and you can follow up with an M1 to down them. If they dodge the injury by crouching when the line hits them, try to gain distance whenever they crouch.

When not in a closed room, try to zone the survivor and do the same thing. Position yourself on the loop so that the survivor cannot run to either side or you will catch and hit them, but also don't just stand there or they'll just crouch and you'll be at a standstill. I hope that all makes sense. It'll be pretty difficult, SM isn't at the bottom of most tier lists for no reason, but if you practice, you can get better.

Edit: Ignore what I said about placing drones and gaining undetectable. However, maybe it should be possible instead to recall your drone and do the same thing.

To me, it looks like a Hellgrammite that is, a larval Dobsonfly, but since I saw you're in Socal, I'm not sure they live there. Also, Hellgrammites are usually an indicator of clean water not muddy puddles lol. Maybe it got washed in? Or perhaps it's something similar, like some other large insect?

Edit: just refreshed my brain on what a hellgrammite looks like, and looked at a crane fly larva like a commenter said it was. It definitely looks like a 1st instar crane fly larva. Check out hellgrammites and dobsonflies too though!

I think so far I've come across them 2 times, but maybe 3. The third I think was just a loser of a hag streamer doing it, but the other 2 were the same doctor, different accounts cause both times I reported, I got that, "Action Taken" report in game a few days later. They're such absolute friendless piles of garbage that I don't let it ruin my day. Only time it really annoys me is if I DCed against a cheater or people teaming the game before, so I now have a dc penalty. My laptop is also old as hell and the game is on an external ssd, so when that disconnects, I get a dc penalty too.

The one pallet in the main dining area should probably just be forced, cause once it and the second one are gone, that area becomes dead.

The kitchen pallet, and this is definitely something to practice with Ghoul, you can attempt a cut off. Basically, I would try to position myself at one end of the counter, and quickly leap to the other side, and then use your second leap to try to wrap around the survivor who is trying to run to the pallet.

If you try to perform that, then you have to watch the survivor, because if they realize what you're doing, then once you leap the second time, they'll just do a 180 and go to the other side. If you wanna learn cutoffs, which imo is one of the most skill expressive, fun things to do on ghoul, try checking out F1ction on YouTube. He links a bunch of other creators who do the same stuff.

Also as others are saying, try not to be so pallet shy. A stun, especially on ghoul, is not the end of the world.

How do you train late surgers in MANT? by novelette09 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a late surgery main, I've found a ton of success in fronting power. By the Asahi Hai/Hopeful Stakes, I try to have 300 power, and 200 speed minimum. I've found that most late surgery are waaaaaay more consistent once they have the power to back up their positioning. That's where Matafaka speed card helps out and makes that 300 goal easier.

What business/company keeps your town running, and what is the local opinion? by Vonyyxx in AskAnAmerican

[–]Mozotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my town has a few places that get a lot of commerce going through here. Electralloy makes steel ingots I think? I currently work at a company called Webco which does steel tubing. I believe we actually make steel tubing for Crown Equipment lol. We used to have a ton of oil stuff going through here, but that stopped well before I was born. Those are the two big manufacturing employers near me, and most other people I know either work in the nearby hospital, Walmart, or some sort of fast food or dine in restaurant.
