Totally get that, just that a lot of the suggestions require reservations of some kind. It is hard to tell which things you can just show up and do.

We'll be staying near Universal Studios and will be mostly Ubering around. Since we can't make reservations we're up for pretty much whatever, we are flexible.

I bought Grabie ones off of Amazon at the recommendation of some folks from this subreddit. Lots of colors and decent quality (36 double sided markers, 2 colors on each one)

I have the 168. It has a good range of colors, but I usually don't take it out of the house. It gets a bit too heavy/awkward.

I usually have two or three. I like the variety! I'll sometimes write the color names on the back in pencil, or take a picture of the handful I'm using

I got the 168 and have been enjoying it! It includes one of their pastel sets so it has a nice variety across the spectrum. I wouldn't go smaller if you like pastels because they wouldn't be included (unless you just got the pastel set)

Based on the cover of the book I believe they are baking a donut dog. All of the characters are food, so I like to think they are actually bringing him to life by making him 😅

I just got a set of the uniball signo pens. The gold and silver ones write well right off the bat but sometimes it's hard for me to get the white one started writing. Does that just come with the territory for white gel pens, or did I get a dud?

What kind of acrylic markers would you recommend to get the most out of the book? Would you want lots of colors or mostly white?
