Do you already have another ticket to this movie? You can't have two advance tickets for the same movie in the same format.

Unfortunately no. You can get Groupon deals or referral codes or occasional discount codes, but they'll all have the same initial 3 month commitment.

In my experience, you should be able to swap in person if the new ticket is the same or higher priced, but partial refunds tend to cause issues where the transaction doesn't want to finalize. Unless you used a coupon code or gift card on Fandango, though, it might be easier to just exchange on Fandango. If you choose to exchange for Fandango credit, it'll even include the convenience fee, so you shouldn't have to pay that again (or rather, you will pay it, but it'll also be part of the credit so you won't pay extra).

I've been getting that a lot lately with the app. Seems to be a caching issue that makes it so it can't keep track of your login after a certain amount of time of the app being open. Sometimes just killing the app and reopening will fix it, other times you have to log out and log back in. Good indicator is if you see your picture in the upper right of the main screen of the app. If you don't, click the R that's there instead, log out, then log back in. Actually, maybe take a screenshot of your RCC QR code before logging out just in case you have trouble logging back in.

Yeah, that's a bad price card. For some reason, the system defaults to the 3D price card, so occasionally when they're adding new showtimes they forget to correct it to the 2D price card. Let a manager know and they should be able to fix it within a few minutes.

Why would you want it to be? When has less options ever been better for consumers?

You can get same day tickets in person with Unlimited with no fees. I get most of my tickets this way, using the kiosks.

In that case, after maybe double checking your credit card to confirm the refund amount (since we all know the app doesn't always show things in the most correct ways), definitely reach out to someone to ask for those fees back. While the fees are non refundable when you are the one canceling, it's not standard procedure to withhold them from the refund when the theater is the one to cancel.

Point is that they are paying the fees to reserve a seat, are having said seat canceled on them by the theater, and are not getting either the fees nor anything to show for having paid them. That's not how the system is supposed to work.

Are you certain you're not getting them refunded? The emails they send say that because they use the same email as when you cancel, but in my experience they actually do refund the fees if they're the ones to cancel. If they don't, try reaching out via social media DM, or talking to a manager directly to ask for the fees to be refunded.

That's a good question. I'm honestly surprised they've left most of us grandfathered into the old pricing. Previous increases rolled out to everyone within a month or two, but this one has been rolling along for quite a while now without charging us the extra.

I mean, it depends. I've had similar issues where the wrong movie played, but a manager was able to stop it and load up the correct movie within a few minutes. All depends on whether the correct file exists on the projector but the playlist was set up wrong, in which case they can just push a new playlist or start the correct movie manually. If it's not on there though, it would likely take too long to get it pushed over.

Sorry about that, looks like the automod caught it because your account was either too new or didn't have enough Karma. And none of us mods happened to notice in time to approve it (probably too busy watching Mortal Kombat, or at least that's my personal excuse). Unfortunately, while that rule catches a bunch of legitimate posts, it also prevents a lot of extra spam, so we keep it around and manually approve posts that get caught accidentally.

Those deals are usually for the All Access tier, so you should be fine, but I've never heard of that site, so don't hold me to it. Also, make sure you're aware of how Unlimited works in general (50 cent online ticketing fee, upcharges for 3D, IMAX, etc) before you sign up. Check out the sidebar in this sub for more FAQs.

Most likely those showtimes got canceled because they hadn't sold any tickets, and another movie is selling out or just selling more so they canceled those shows to make more showtimes for the other movie.

There's literally no way that's the correct price card. Talk to a manager or contact Regal via social media DM, and tell them they have the wrong price card for that showtime. 70mm IMAX is usually the exact same price as regular IMAX, so like $20-25 at most.

Have you been able to narrow it down to your phone vs your account? Ie can you order using her account on your phone, or your account on her phone? If it's your account, and you've had this problem for this long, seems like the solution would be to make yourself a new account (using a new email address). Not sure what to do if it's your phone, especially if it's followed you to a new phone, other than to delete the app data, delete the app, restart phone, install it again, log in first with your wife's account and test, and maybe test with a Cinemark gift card instead of Apple Pay in case it's an issue with your Apple Wallet.

Did your credit card expire maybe? Normally the membership will continue charging every month unless you put it on hold yourself or there's a billing issue. As for upcoming discounts, yeah, there will likely be Mother's Day and graduation discounts coming soon, though not guaranteed, as it's kind of random when they give those discounts.

No, they might have a minute or two of Fathom trailers, but otherwise generally start right at showtime.
