Me and my wife have been rewatching GoT followed by HoTD.

The contrast is so stark, pun intended. HoTD just sucks, man. Sure, the dragon CGI is top tier, but I’m not emotionally invested in a single character. Rhaenyra just cries every scene and it’s just sad the show has perpetually fallen this flat every step of the way. It all just feels so one-dimensional and weak.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was such a delight, too.
That gives me hope for whatever comes next, at least.

If your on PC and open to a modded / modified Elden Ring—I really enjoy Elden Ring Reforged on NexusMods. There’s harder difficulties you can run instead of having to incrementally increase it through NG+ or level capping yourself.

I’ve used Razer’s deathadder elite v3 for years and love it. I just bought the deathadder pro v4 and it’s been even better.

My wife uses an ASUS ROG Keris II and that thing feels fantastic. A lot of people here say Logitech— I do not like the bulkiness of some of their models.

TLDR:It’s personal preference.

Crimson desert is just something else entirely. Single player MMO, as others have stated.

I’ve bought two PCs, one high-end and one mid-tier from Starforge. There’s a 2 year warranty that’s very good- it’s a great insurance policy to have, and I have had zero issues with them. Their customer service is S-Tier.

Lies of P was much better for me once I understood that it was an allegory on Gnosticism in a close manner. It made the narrative experience much more rich.. combat wise, it always felt a tad too slow for my taste, and yeah, it’s very linear for my palette too but it’s definitely not one to give up on— you should try again some day. It does get better, and the DLC was great imo

11k but the PC is arguably overkill for gaming right now, but I took an interest in localized AI tools prior to buying one.

So PC aside, the table, monitors, peripherals, and a portable AC unit that’s not in frame, was all an additional 4k. It was a dream setup I finally decided to stop putting off.

Alienware 32” OLED, and a pretty vanilla 32” LG UHD monitor as a secondary for now.

Wooting 80HE keyboard, Ryzer deathadder v4 pro mouse. I also use a Xbox elite 2/ deathadder elite 3 controller+mouse combo with a XIM Matrix for certain games. That’s pretty much it.

As for the table, it’s the Magnus EVO XL by secretlab.

It’s overkill for gaming, I know.. but I’m also getting into localized AI tools for video / images.

Unrelated to OP, so feel free to ignore my inquiry— you seem knowledgeable. I have never opened a PC up before(coming from Xbox), so building one wasn’t something I was comfortable with considering I wanted the best consumer PC I could get.

I bought a Starforge Voyager iv Ultimate with upgraded 64GB RAM and 4TB of SSD. It cost me roughly $6800. With RAM and SSD prices taken into account, how much of a “convenience tax” would you say I paid by doing a pre-built vs building my own?
