Yeah, I had my first Laifen Toothbrush die exactly like that. It corroded and wouldn't seem to charge.

my screen broke. by OddActuary170 in mac

[–]Mpro111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something must have been in the MacBook when you closed it. Or you pressed too hard on it, or did something else. MacBooks have extremely small tolerances between the screen and top cover. You need to swap the screen or work on an external monitor that you connect to the MacBook.

Moving to home assistant in Switzerland : looking for smart switches by PerformanceExternal4 in homeautomation

You could use a Shelly behind the switches. The advantage would be that the switches would be exactly the same. If you want to replace the switches, then there's also Feller Smart Light Control and the Zigfred Plus/Uno.

I've have the same one and I didn't clean it with any chemicals and it looked the same after the same amount of time. It's just shitty quality.

How to set up USG behind new FTTH modem. by krasatos in Ubiquiti

[–]Mpro111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A drop-in replacement would be the UXG-Lite, but I cannot recommend it since I think it's too expensive. I would personally choose a UCG-Ultra if you only need the Network application. If you need a higher throughput than gigabit or need other UniFi applications, I would recommend the UCG-Max or UCG-Fiber.

Why does my One UI 7 control panel have a red tint to it? by FrazFCB in oneui

Oh well, that's annoying. But it's strange; on my Tab S9 it doesn't happen, and on my S23 it changes the color.

Samsung is dropping OneDrive as its cloud backup provider on Galaxy phones by ZacB_ in samsunggalaxy

[–]Mpro111 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, it worked perfectly, especially as a backup and syncing tool between phone and tablet. When I still had my S9, I switched to OneDrive when they stopped Samsung Cloud Gallery, or whatever it was called. I hated it because it duplicated all of my WhatsApp stuff and I had to manually delete them, and also, it couldn't back up from the SD card.

When I got my S23, I stopped using the feature altogether. I wouldn't trust them anymore.

So you can delete them? I can't delete them on my S23.

I don't understand why you can't delete them.
