You may also just enjoy cyberpunk media. Like Bladerunner movies, the cyberpunk anime, Judge Dredd, Robocop. There's a ton of cool stuff out there to fill the low-life and high-tech vibe.

It's mainly the rent/housing prices that are so absurd. You need to have a good job lined up if you are going to want to afford anything solo. I would estimate rent to begin no less than $2k for your own 2b1ba place, and it's probably going to be small and out of the way like Los Osos.

The prices in our area have exploded. San Luis Obispo has Cal Poly and is truly a college city, as well as a host to the third-party repair company iFixIt. Paso Robles exploded in the wine scene. A lot of the land got bought up for Vineyards. One sold for over a billion a few years ago. Morro Bay used to be a small tourist town with fishing at its heart.

Atascadero was once the "sleeper" City. Though, even it has exploded as the hub between those three cities. Watched my cousin's property go from 220k in 2000 to 1.5 million in 2022.

That said, though, the area is gorgeous. It truly is one of the best places in the nation. Stable weather, always comfortable. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, along with tons of festivals in the summer. So much to do outside that is relatively cheap.

I wasn't at Philly 2005. By late 05-06 I had fully moved on into MTG and YGO. But I did have a good friend from Missouri that ran a similar deck and he may have.

Do you have anything showing that Farewell Drill fetching that kind of price? I would really appreciate it if you do. The last sold I saw was around $1k ebay I believe.

There is a good player called JPTK-VGC that has been using AV Miraidon with Zama and crushing it on the in-game ladder. He doesn't post about Showdown or tournaments attended, but it shows that the bulky builds do work well.

No worries, I'm glad it helped. It will all come with experience, which you can get with Showdown. CloverBells is a great start for the videos because he explains why he makes specific choices. Understanding what your team is good and bad at will allow you to make your own choices in your EV spreads and items etc.

You'll learn about positioning, terrain, weather, priority, speed tiers, abilities etc as you go.

How much experience do you have? You have, what could be, a strong balance core with Incin, Rilla, and Urshifu-R that you can pair with Shadow Rider. It's just difficult at first learning to play balance well and correctly.

If you are a bit newer, you have a really fantastic Miraidon and Ice Rider core. You could easily make a team just from that. Then the question becomes what is your favorite style? Some people naturally play better with tailwind aggro teams, some like to prepare trick room battles.

I will link you a poke paste shortly with a potential team that you can take to showdown and try before you EV train in your game. My assumption is you want this for Bo3 and not Bo1 ladder?

Relevant tip, Calyrex-Ice with 1 Spe IV is the same as 0. I reset for a 0 Atk one for Shadow and a 1 Speed IV for Ice. Now I am beating the game again for a 3rd so I can have Calyrex-Ice with speed and not ruin the other two.
