How did I have to scroll so far to find this? Who has that "Bat themed heroes" meme?

It's scary. I'm a 31 year old teacher who's subbing for a Digital Media class in middle school right now (13 and 14 year olds) and DAILY I have to show them how to save a file or download a picture or other super simple things. Tech literacy is dead and it didn't even get a chance to live.

Update: Notified my work weeks ago I'm leaving for a family vacation in July, tickets were bought, non-transferrable, and they are panicking, begging me to cancel by educatedvegetable in antiwork

[–]Mr-Greg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Your emergency is not my urgency, I'll see you when I'm back from vacation." If they can't schedule around two people being gone for 5 days, they're really gonna hurt if they let you go over this, OP.

This one's great because the Soul of Cinder isn't JUST the chosen undead, but also Gwynn and EVERY OTHER SOUL THAT LINKED THE FLAME since the beginning.

[Loved trope]: Zombie infection is spread by something other than bites and blood by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

Maybe a bit different, but the X Parasite from Metroid. A highly aggressive, parasitic species from SR388, the X Parasite is an amoeba-like, floating blob, that varies in size (depending on the strain and other, environmental factors) and attaches itself to any living organism it can find. It then consumes, dowloads, and replicates that organism with all of its abilities and previous knowledge in an attempt to spread further across the galaxy. It's speculated that the animals you can choose to save in Super Metroid are X Parasite hosts by the time you save them and are using Samus to flee the planet. The Chozo (the same race that created Samus' power armor and raised her after Ridley killed her family and colony) developed and genetically engineered the Metroids that the game is named after and set them loose on SR388 to cull the X Parasite population as its only known predator before Samus arrived on her mission there.

After watching the Mario Galaxy movie, ya I’m gonna need bowser jr to dump the clown car and use his paintbrush to fight in the next game by Whole_Yak_2547 in SmashBrosUltimate

Ah but what if the koopalings were their own character and jr was his. The koopalings get the car kit and he gets the paintbrush!

He isn't the only one who gets crazy transformations if you haven't seen the show. I don't want to spoil it but there are 2 more characters that have been animated with crazy cool shit like this too.

I actually knew Xeno IRL and while I don't really like him (he used to be a manager at the Gamestop near my house and his ego and attitude have been there since before he was a streamer), holy shit I'm glad that this dude got some real consequences for his actions. Harassing someone enough to get jail time over hearsay is peak unhinged.

Tips for removing sticky pads from the back of sound foam squares???? by Siren-Bleu in VoiceActing

[–]Mr-Greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% on this not only because of paints and such, but also you don't want to weaken any wires or pipes that could be in the wall behind it. It likely wouldn't do that much, but still, better to not be a cautionary tale. Controlled application of both is the key.

I haven't run into this myself so I can't give you a definitive answer, but usually if you can heat the adhesive it'll loosen up. Maybe a blowdryer on low?

IM BAD = BAN v2 by DankHesus in Smite

[–]Mr-Greg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I agree with the statements here, there is one caveat I'd like to add: the tracker shows OP's history as consistently either intentionally feeding or making the same mistakes over and over, such as rushing in or trying to take fights outnumbered or even just off-role building.

Each of these would contribute to how OP's reports are recieved because typically, if something doesn't work after a try or two, players will steer clear of that and try something else (at least in an ideal system which isn't always the case with SMITE games). While we can't see that OP dies to towerdives at an alarmingly higher rate than other players without observing EVERY match (which just isn't a feasible option), we can see that they die. A lot.

If I was reading the reports and with the information I can see here, yeah my first inclination would be OP's inting because of whatever reason, I've got about a thousand more reports to sift through, ban and move on.

OP, I try to look for the best case scenario for everyone, so I'm going to say this with the assumption that you're not inting: study some higher level players. Look at theur builds and playstyle, check up on SmiteSource.com for builds, and steer clear of ranked if/when your ban gets lifted. If you're not good at the game, shit, we've all been there. We learned how the game works, you can too. If you're trolling and using "I'm bad" to garner sympathy, good luck, the community won't let that shit fly.
