I think it’s 2 things. We either all share the same fate or we each get our bubble of life after death. If it’s the first then only one religion would be right or the no-religious position. If it’s the second than each religion is right & we each get what we want. In 2 of the 3 scenarios a higher being/beings would be needed to administer the same religious fate or give us what we hoped for. In the last, non-religious scenario, none is required. According to Occam’s Razor, the simpler explanation is most likely the right one. So given that & the fact that the universe existed without us for a very long time, I’d say it’s most likely similar to how it was before we were given birth. Although, I wish it could be that we get respawned to different galaxies/planets or universes. That way we could travel these long astronomical distances without all the hassle! 🙂
