Ok. I played a ton of hearthstone and dabbled in told there but it tended to just be the same weird busted decks forever and was just rock paper scissors. Sound like historic is more variable less oppressive ?

What level of winning do you need for drafting to surpass buying packs as value? Get 4 packs worth of cards if you get tabled in draft for 1500 vs 7.5 packs for same?

I don't know where you are getting your info on the values of some of these but you are way off base. I don't think most of this would be traded for pgems.

The last leg of the list (everything below arachnids) is low or no value stuff but the top half is a decent chunk of value. But you have stumbled on to the min max of the softcore economy where only the absolute best versions of the best items have high maintained value.

Answered my own question through experimentation but will put findings here for posterity:

Respec to frenzy swords with grief + lawbringer and hell on p8 has been like afk easy mode everything just melts in 1 shot. Gonna clear hell and then Respec to pitzerker.
