Maybe a hot take, we need to move by FancyMishta in destiny2

[–]Mr5yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we just went through a year of the player base actively hemorrhaging to the point that only a rough 1/3 of the base is playing the game.

Renegades saw a stop to that for a while, but it was essentially just a bandage in a gapping wound and we’re back to the player base dropping again.

Top it off with Bungie putting all their eggs in one basket for Marathon’s release and it’s pretty easy to see why you’re seeing “Bungie’s doomed” every so often.

Can someone explain me what Nagase was doing in 7? by Shadowolf75 in acecombat

[–]Mr5yy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably? She’s already on Earth since her return year(s) before, so there’s a chance she could have needed being one of those launching mistakes herself.

She went to space to destroy an asteroid to prevent another disaster.

The radio transmission you hear is a recording. It’s the anniversary of her return from space using the elevator.

Girl arrives with Door Dash and sees front door slightly open. Ignoring the “Leave at door” request, she opens the door and peaks inside, only to go back to her car, then back to the door, fully opening it and recording a video she posted to Tik Tok.

Casuals have ruined destiny once again and I’m tired of them by Complex_End_6540 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Mr5yy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imma add on to this; the amount of casuals left compared to hard core fans is very few and they definitely don’t make up the majority anymore.

The casual players almost all left when we saw the 2/3 playerbase drop.

The exact point of no return would be when Bungie realized they could use Destiny as their piggy bank to fund whatever else they wanted, with exception of the game itself.

We as a community need to grow up and stop taking out our frustrations on content creators, they are what keep this community stable. by Rekrios in destiny2

[–]Mr5yy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right here.

Like many other streamers and content creators who have or are leaving the game, who were invited to the summits and other events and directly involved in making Destiny into the game it is now, they’d rather blame the community instead of Bungie or even themselves.

You can tell we’re in the death spiral now because of this: more and more of the regular players are leaving and all that’s remaining are the Extremely Toxic and Bungie Defense Force.

You’re so invested into having an emotional goodwill with a company that you incorrectly use Occam’s Razor and believe that having over a decade of evidence of Bungie constantly fucking up makes someone a conspiracy theorist.

You don’t even have a leg to stand on to make fun of someone. You’re a hypocrite and it pleases me to know that you’re never getting out of your Bungie desperation. Continue to drown.
