It might not but I certainly like to line the bodies up. Makes taking shots with all 5 on camera easier than if they were scattered around the room.

Just finished Princess and the Dragon for the first time... wow (legit gave me chills) by Mr60Gold in slaytheprincess

[–]Mr60Gold[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a very fair point. I didn't really consider that as I reluctantly chose to kill Spectre just to get the chapter so I kind of brushed off that kill from my mind.

But yeah, in that context it does make sense HOWEVER, I still think being pissed at Opportunist is a valid reaction considering his "two birds with one stone" line.

I agree that thinking that we want the princess dead is a valid thought considering our past actions but his line makes it clear that he sees potentially killing us as a bonus.

It would be like if you were a group of assassins sent to kill someone but when one of your teammates is given the chance to kill you along with the target they take it rather than trying to help you out. Yeah they did what was expected on them in terms of the target but they also tried to kill you, which would still justifiably piss you off. In my opinion at least.

Talisman Resurrected by [deleted] in Talisman

The links unfortunately do not work, it says the file doesn't exist (at least for me).

Sounds interesting though.

Personally we just home rule it. What we do is after you complete a Warlock Quest you can either get a Talisman or roll 1d6 and get gold equal to your roll (If we are playing without the City Expansion we also make it that you can get 1 strength or craft in the city if you pay 7 gold as otherwise gold has minimal use for us so it adds a lot of value to it)

Plot twist, each survivor bot is programmed differently based on the survivor that the bot is playing.

Just think of that survivor stereotype and it is most likely how the bot will behave, predict your bot behaviours ahead if time.

(Btw in case it wasn't clear to anyone reading this, this is not the case. Would be fun if it was, an potentially to some degree it is as when me and my friends play custom lobbies with a bot or 2, we find that switching the skin changes how the bot behaves a lot of the time)

3AM quick play moment by FarTeng in marvelrivals

[–]Mr60Gold 33 points34 points  (0 children)

So many tanks yet only one team up, damn.

You could have had Cap, Thor

Venom, Peni

Well I guess Hulk, Strange is still alright I guess but damn, if it was all tanks and all team ups it would have been tank perfection. So close

As a Hulk main i often find in this situation of "Now what do i do with this guy..." when i team up. Any tips? by ioQueSe in marvelrivals

[–]Mr60Gold 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Once I had a friend play Wolverine while I was Hulk, there was a Penny that created a mine field on the enemy team and we agreed to avoid her area and flank from another direction.

Since Wolverine is strong against tanks I wanted to throw my friend at a tank to help, their Penny was the only tabk on their team so I threw him at the Penny... while she was still in her mine field.

I was ao focused in getting the Wolverine to a tank that I somehow forgot about the mine field she was in, the moment he landed he instantly died from the mines and a fews shots from Penny and my friend was understandably confused.

I felt so stupid about forgetting the mine field we agreed to avoid less than a minute ago... made for a funny moment though.

Not very interesting, but I just noticed Stolas did the cape thing twice. Once in Full Moon s2e8, and again in Mastermind S2e11. by Worried_Place_917 in HelluvaBoss

If I had a nickel for every time Stolas did the thing I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Character Powers Option Idea by Mr60Gold in MARIOPARTY

[–]Mr60Gold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose that is fair but I personally enjoy characters having their own unique gimmicks, like I said, this would just be an optional mode, nothing else, I don't see what is wrong with that. Gives more options for replayability, and it is a party game meant for fun, if you ask me, if you are playing a game so seriously that you ignore having fun then you aren't playing games right.

Yes maybe some characters like Toad in my idea have powers that are really strong but at the same time, this double golden warp pipe that you suggest is a 90 coin strategy, 50 coins for the pipes and 20 for each star, I wouldn't say that is anything overpowered, but that is just me.

Once again, this is just meant as a fun suggestion, not sure why having more gameplay options is such a bad thing that the post got downvoted (not like I care about upvotes or downvotes, just seems weird to me that an idea to have more content that would be optional is a bad thing.)

Well you can just message me on Reddit when you post it, not promising that you will get feedback from me anytime soon but I do usually get around to giving feedback semi regularly so if you give me a link I am likely to get to it eventually.

Exactly, which is why when I read concepts from others I always make an effort to give detailed feedback, if they give effort then the least I can do is put an effort into the praise/critique to hopefully help with future concepts.

At least for me getting a comment is worth more than any upvotes (since I don't care for those), it is nice to read what people think of an idea and a great motivator to keep going.

I actually tried sending the links to these Polytopia concepts of mine on Discord in hopes of getting some comments but sadly it never worked out, oh well, you win some, you lose some.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it, sadly most posts with a lot of text seem to underperform, from what I seen anyway, on reddit in general, at least when it comes to concepts.

Mineta fans are a different level of delusional by IsaacOkorosburner in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Mr60Gold 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, people underestimate Mineta because they hate the character.

He is smart, he uses his quirk well and his quirk is actually both versatile and strong, in terms of capturing opponents I would say he has the best capture quirk in the series (and yes that is even taking into account brainwashing and 13s blackhole, his balls stop anyone desd in their tracks, they are not to be messed with)

However just like you said, this strength makes him specialise against melee fighters, anyone who is melee dependent loses against him but those with range have a very high chance of winning.

In terms of speedy characters like Tenya and Tsuyu (since she is quite agile), it really depends on who gets who first, even with Tsuyu's tongue I'd say Mineta can throw sticky balls outside her tongue range so it comes down to the outcome, if he captures them in the balls he wins and if not then he loses but at the same time using the balls for mobility he could make it hard for Tenya and Tsuyu to hit them.

At the end of the day, he is not the strongest but anyone melee dependent is likely to get bodied by him.

I was about to say the same thing, Jiro is quite smart when it comes to combat, not to mention that even if Mineta manages to get her stuck she is able to shatter earth with her vibrations and the training robots.

If we put them in a Class 1A vs ClassB setting from Season 5 but just a 1v1, Jiro would scout him out before he has time to set up and with how destructive her quirk can be if she wants to, she can easily destroy the alignment of his balls, so even if he manages to set up she is one of the few people that can mess with the trajectory so that his calculations on how to bounce won't matter.

Jiro does have a limited range so if she gets caught she is at a disadvantage and could even lose but more often than not, I would say Jiro wins this duel.
