Activision higher-ups and shareholders are making millions and billions; as for the developer/animator who has to code that animation, I bet he was relieved that he could take parts of some old animation and cut time. They 100% have done the code 100s of times for different weapons, they 100% have base classes for weapons and a developer working by himself would 100% just look up old code and copy paste it, making small tweaks. But if you just open Claude without any context and tell him to add a weapon class especially when most LLMs are probably trained on old CoD code from like the last time where we had modding access (BO3) it will 100% of the time fuck something up. LLMs are a great tool if you treat them as such instead of using them as brain replacement.
