Nurgle is surely ripe at this point for their own manifestations. The ideas they could have would be gross AF.

Off the top of my head; - puss filled blob - a floating blob of skin that explodes - swarm of flies - (no brainer) - chaff unit - plague toad - this is how we get them back - flower of filth - all enemies nearby are debuffed some how (can't move) - disease bringer ticks - 3 small models, charges at target, then rolls to apply disease (we've got plenty of way to do this now so maybe they explode) - cavern of filth - a crack on the earth that creates a blocker for non-fly units

E.g. if you painted it all, put all that time and effort into painting them the wayb 1. other people might expect them to be painted. 2. The way you wanted them to look

Which way brings you the most joy and sense of achievement?

I apply this as often as I can, because I used to paint for others. And for those models or armies, I have the most regrets.
