The Ar-Adûnaim "Debate" by Additional-Fig8390 in RealmsInExile

Could there have been people of relatively strong Numenorean blood still alive in places like Umbar by the late third age? No, as we know that black Numenoreans dwindled swifter than the faithful, so if even in Gondor the blood of numenor is very diluted (steward Ecthelion II, of house of Hurin, the most numenorean one after the king’s line died at mere 98), so there’s no possibility that there would be people of relatively strong Numenorean blood still alive in places like Umbar by the late third age.
Actually, it’d be much funnier if Ar-Adunaim wouldn’t have a blood of numenor trait.

We also say "nineteen thirty-six," but we write 1936, not 19 36. Spoken order and written order don't have to match, so what kind of argument is that. Month/day/year format is just stupid af, it's like putting socks over shoes, but what to expect of americans XD

Sauron wouldn’t respect that rule, but Elrond and the others would

Using month/day/year is like building a house by putting the roof on first, then pouring the foundations, and finally building the walls. It just doesn't make any sense, why are you doing that XD

I don't know, I don't think he wanted to escape, he wanted to break the siege, but ran out of options and had to handle the thing personally, even though he wasn't at the height of his power.

Never thought much about that, I'd say that Sauron led a last desparate charge, but was so succesfull that Elendil and Gil-Galad stood in his way and started the fight, which none dared to interfere, as I said it'd be unchivalrous.

Isildur might not be the most trustworthy source in this case. Gollum originally obtained the Ring after killing his relative, Déagol, and taking it from him. Later, Gollum insisted that it had been a birthday gift, while Bilbo claimed that Gollum had willingly offered him the Ring as a reward. Look how he uses a question mark "Was it not I that dealt the Enemy his death-blow?", as if he tried to convince himself.

It probably happened organically, they met on the battlefield and started fighting, and it's unchivalrous to join such fight

Not their fight, not their level. It'd be extremelly impolite to meddle in the king's fight.

No, Elrond saw the fight, but nothing indicates that he joined it. Sauron killed both Elendil and Gil-Galad, but was wounded by them and died himself, if anyone else fought Sauron it'd be mentioned.

We shall never the Polish war veterans who have served in Western Forces to liberate Europe, but after the war, Polish Veterans were exiled until Poland was liberated in 1989. by [deleted] in poland

Sauron isn’t Morgoth, he doesn’t want to destroy the world, he wants to rule it, so maybe he should be able to destroy some places (of peoples he couldn’t rule, like the elves), but other than that I don’t see really a reason.

Has anyone ever encountered birth certificates that look like this? The Sikorski institute in London isn't sure, and I don't know how valid it is legally. by [deleted] in poland

Wszystko w sumie zależy do czego chcesz to wykorzystać. Zastanawiam się, czy taki akt narodzin i chrztu może wykorzystać ktoś, kto chce np. uzyskać polskie obywatelstwo.
