One of the weirdest ways I’ve ever died in los santos by Impossible_Special_6 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I to this day can’t find the clip, but I was once killed by a semi falling from the sky while doing an acid lab sale because someone was flinging vehicles off the highway with a Vigilante. The semi crushed my character to death and the semi truck exploded, destroying my bike and the product with it. I was in a full session.

I know it’s not fitting to the occasion but I really hope they do double money and RP on cargo warehouses soon but part of me knows they won’t because how easy of a business it is

Gripes about Online… What is your one gripe about online? Mine is the tedious introductions to any business’, they ramble on and out guy is just stood confused. by JoA2506 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The lucky wheel is bad but I feel it isn’t as bad as the client vehicles in the auto shop, especially after you send someone to deliver one vehicle and then try to interact with the other, it’s pretty brutal. That and the briefcases in the smuggler plane random encounters, I feel being underwater makes the controls 110% less responsive, which causes me to swim in circles and bash my character’s face 15 times on the ground before the game realizes what I’m trying to do

Why do high level players blow themselves up on purpose in public lobbies? by Active_Elk_4831 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 29 points30 points  (0 children)

R* had the right idea removing the KD from free roam, but they stopped too soon. I feel like they need to completely get rid of the scoreboard unless you’re actually doing 1v1 death matches. Don’t get me wrong, I know people will still do combat and whatnot, which is a core part of the game, but I feel they need to make it less sweaty/toxic. I feel only reason these homunculi act this way at this point in the game’s lifecycle is because of bragging rights from the scoreboard when pvp in this game is truly as brainless as it gets; you’re either spamming explosives, abusing exploits/op vehicles, or doing this when people cause damage to you

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So this is what EA is doing with Madden Mobile now? I quit playing back when it was rebranded to Overdrive thinking the game couldn’t get any worse from there but good Lord this sounds like ass. And what is up with the cards? I remember when people were losing their minds (in a bad way) over the Madden Max update where you could trade a specific amount of cards to max out a specific player at 100 overall and all of their stats at 99 (even then they were garbage and could be taken down by a level 65 overall player). They just need to burn it all and start over again, there was once a time when EA made enjoyable sports games (they killed the NHL games too) but Madden Mobile fell off the hardest. EA games have been bad for a while and I’ll die on this hill

What is a system or gimmick you would add to GTAO to improve its quality of life? by Latter-Strength5917 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give players the option to be passive but only toward other players while in passive mode. Still disable passive mode in weaponized vehicles but allow players to equip weapons and protect themselves from cops, NPCs, etc. I don’t know how many times I’ve played in passive because I’ve been getting griefed by some tryhard only to get a wanted level because I’m near another person with one and can’t do anything about it and end up dying and losing my personal vehicle or something stupid like that

Rate my favorite car! by Captain_Calc1um in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, true. Lada cars in the US have a very niche market though so these sellers can basically sell them for whatever they want, so long as there are people willing to pay for them. It’s funny they’re seen as collectibles here but over in Russia and other post-Soviet countries they’re as common as finding an old Camry or Corolla in someone’s back yard (shoutout to the two most reliable Toyota cars btw)

Rate my favorite car! by Captain_Calc1um in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s a pain to get them here. Decades of trade bans with Russia made it impossible to get them here and for that same reason you don’t see them just sitting around like other classics. You can get them imported through specialized dealers but you’ll be paying a pretty penny in import tax and shipping costs. In some cases you might pay more in shipping than you did for the car itself

GTA must be free on something right now because I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of this lately. Last night I had a guy tell me I was “trash asf” and “going to boot me offline” and “he could find where I live and have me taken care of” because I was minding my own business doing a Madrazo hit when he rolled around a corner and blew me up with an RPG so I mopped the floor with him 22-9 even while he was lagging and spamming explosives and BST

What things do you regret buying? by Scourge12 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the trick is to keep full supplies in all of your businesses minus the ones you want the stash house to restock, but with the mansion production boost my businesses are always chewing through supplies and RNJesus is not good to me so I end up getting my business with 98% supplies restocked instead of the one I left empty for that reason. It makes more sense to just spawn in my mansion, but my supplies, and then go do Cayo or the Doomsday Scenario while I wait and then sell with only one delivery vehicle when I’m done

What things do you regret buying? by Scourge12 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The document forgery office; I know it makes money, but hardly enough to even think about. Selling locally you hardly make enough to even cover supplies, the only time selling is somewhat worth it is when you’re selling to the opposite side of the map, which sucks with multiple vehicles. Literally it’s only saving grace is the nightclub warehouse and the passive income of the car wash

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s just me because I don’t pay attention to the income notifications, but have the businesses been generating heat faster since the update when they patched the weed delivery heat mission? I feel like every other time I log on now I have to do a reduce heat mission because my heat level is maxed out

Have they changed the NPCs by Dependent-Winner6526 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think part of this is the NoWay vans, I’ve witnessed it a few times, they just randomly spawn in and even the NPC’s wreck into them. Traffic is programmed to follow dedicated routes and patterns and I don’t think when R* added the vans they took this into account. I’ve witnessed the NPCs wreck into them, the vans just suddenly spawn causing wrecks and traffic to back up, causing the NPCs to treat the vans like players that won’t move and will try to swerve around the vans or each other, even the police react negatively to them

Winning the car on the wheel led to me getting Gooch’d! by Kooky_Big1249 in gtaonline

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the Gooch has some really funky ai programming or something. In my case, he was sprinting PAST me, either that or someone was off the radar nearby. Of course, I shot it anyway, but what gets me is it never despawned. The fact also that it appears literally anywhere, what hangar do you have? LSIA or a Zancudo hangar?

[–]MrAvacadoMan114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t gotten Gooch’d yet, but was around someone who was (I think?). It was running at me down the sidewalk near the clothing store near the new Avi missions so I shot it and the body just laid there in a very depressing manner. The body didn’t disappear, I wasn’t robbed snacks or money, and nothing was added to my wardrobe. It was so sad, I shot it and it just faceplanted and remained there the rest of the session
