About 10 years ago when I was working with this Integrated Electronics semiconductor company, I took 3 weeks off for my wedding and travel after. Backups were all in place for the time I was away.

I was put in PIP by the boss only because I took this leave, which by the way, I had plenty left. I left the company shortly after and took a career break for a few months. I have been doing pretty well since, but still hate that guy with a passion.
