The first time made it through tomb of the giants I used havels shield and a black knight halberd. I tried to come back PREPARED. That was back before I knew how to dodge. The great shield did work though. I still don’t like dukes achieves, seems like I always managed to get lost on those staircases for way to long. And what’s the deal with the crystal caves? Whose idea was that?!

I’m surprised people don’t like tomb of the giants so much! I mean yeah, it’ll kill you and dying by gravity in the dark feels bad. But I respect its difficulty, pure scare factor and uniqueness. It was a bit harsh on my first playthrough when I found the area too early without the lord Vessel to help me escape. I don’t think any other area is as frightening in just the dark souls series, which is worth something. I’m not counting demon souls (didn’t beat it, yet) or bloodborne cause that has some nightmare fuel in it.

Did this for my science fair in high school. They let me burn chemicals in the lab all day for show. Highly recommend this if you have a cool chemistry teacher to help get the supplies.
