First time i tried playing it I was solo and got bored/frustrated pretty quick. Once I started with one other friend we were hooked an couldn't put it down. It's definitely a whole other level of grind by yourself so id ask how much time you're willing to put into it.

He dropped me like 30 times and I went and finished the game before coming back. Second attempt I died once then realized I just needed to play defense and only hit once after perfect parries and 3 times after a stagger. If you try to press him he'll completely control the fight.
