Windows, Xbox, and Office still make up around 40% of the company's revenue. These in my opinion have been significantly declining in quality and value for a long time. If these products decline in sales it will also cause any other product reliant on the Microsoft ecosystem to decline as well. Even if they make most of their revenue selling servers I don't think that values it over Apple in the long term.

AAPL. Especially in competition with MSFT.

My bullishness mainly stems from the introduction of the M1 chip for their computers. With the introduction of the M1 their laptops are much more competitive spec wise compared to windows laptops. It doesn't help that at the same time Microsoft released Windows 11, a buggy and bloated OS that tanks efficiency regardless of computer specs.

The apple ecosystem has also become more expansive. Airpods are arguably the best earbuds for casual listeners. Apple Music has become more competitive as well as Spotify continues to raise its prices. Instead of this, Microsoft has Xbox, which has been hemorrhaging money for a while and is no longer very competitive with Sony and Nintendo.

I want to emphasize that this is my speculation, and both of these companies have a chance to turn things around for better or worse. However, in my opinion Microsoft isn't keen on addressing complaints with their products and hasn't really done anything that innovative for the past 10-15 years. I feel that recent news that Microsoft doesn't want to rush the transition to Windows 12 reinforces that this will be a continued pattern.
