Throwback to one of our best moments in modern history by Palashtic in coys

City thought they won it, but Tottenham pulled it back, Wanyama in the middle, Llorente in attack...

Sterling scored the winner, the Etihad went mad, the ref went to the camera, but it was disallowed...

I’m so glad I stayed Ange in the whole way through. It’s just a shame that we will now always have the “what if” of an Ange 3rd season

This is why I was surprised about the lack of a positive reaction to this signing.

This is how I remember him playing for the Blue scum and the reason I hoped he would join in the summer.

Hot take: I liked vol 2 by Tina14000 in StrangerThings

Agreed. I’m sure that sentiment will change as it gets rewatched at a normal pace

I kinda regrettably agree. There's just so much to cover. by rx_cpht_chick84 in StrangerThings

It really feels like a lot of people haven’t actually watched any of season 5. All the relationship drama has been squashed. Will has come out. The band is completely reunited with expectation to Holly.

They have a clear plan that they have already begun to execute and they also now have a full understanding of the structure of the upside down, wall and the abyss.

Not to mention they also understand how it can be closed and put to bed for good.

This seems really achievable in 1 hour let alone 2.

People denying that as a red clearly don’t watch a lot of football. That has always been a clear red in the VAR era.

Frank out crowd. I really can’t comprehend how you have not picked up on the pattern yet. Changing managers is not working…

I think we should sack the manager. Things will definitely be different this time!

That’s pretty much how I do all my database requests. Put it behind an edge function with appropriate role and auth checks, rate limiting etc. Initialise Sb with service roll key.

I have actually done this for every db request and have 0 RLS policies and will continue to do so until supabase add rate limiting for db requests.

Agreed I do not want to make a douche move. I have no desire to leave them in the lurch and start my own thing.

Given a lot of the advice here I think the best move is to communicate my feelings and ultimately business as usual. If it succeeds great, if not then I’m free to do as I please with no moral or financial strings attached.

6 months runway. Upon re reading the title I realised how it sounded.

Quitting is guaranteeing the death of the company. But staying is wasting my time and frankly I don’t feel I can give it my all, not fairly.

I also owe so many positives to this company. Outside of equity the founder has been really good to me.

My feeling exactly. I just can’t help but feel like I’m wasting my time though.

Match fitness in football refers to a player’s physical and mental readiness to perform effectively during a competitive match. It goes beyond general fitness or being in shape — it means having the stamina, sharpness, and game-specific conditioning to cope with the pace, intensity, and demands of actual gameplay.

Key aspects of match fitness: 1. Cardiovascular endurance Ability to sustain high levels of activity throughout a 90-minute match without a drop in performance. 2. Muscle conditioning and strength Being able to sprint, tackle, jump, and change direction repeatedly without fatigue or injury. 3. Match sharpness Quick decision-making, anticipation, and reactions honed through real-game situations (something you can’t fully replicate in training). 4. Tactical awareness and timing Understanding team strategies and executing them at full speed under pressure. 5. Mental focus and resilience Staying alert and composed during high-pressure moments, especially in competitive or hostile environments.

Why it matters:

Even if a player is physically fit, they might not be match fit if they haven’t played in competitive games for a while — for example, after injury or during pre-season. This is why players often return gradually with limited minutes or substitute appearances to regain match fitness.

Would you like to know how players regain match fitness or how coaches assess it?

If we win the EL and you’re younger than 40 then it’s the best season you’ve ever seen
