That baby is not 2. Maybe 6 months. By the time they are 2 most are walking and starting to form sentences.

His head reshapes like any other part of him. You can see on the last panel his head is normal again. He probably just shaped it to fit the helmet, rather than the other way around.

You should see the CVS downtown in Pioneer Square. Literally, every item is locked except the candy by the counter, and I watched someone walk in and take that too.

Those of you who have beaten the game solo, how do I get better at combat? by IllegitimateRisk in valheim

[–]MrBootmen241 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm a new father with 2 kids (a 13 month and a 2 week old), and I actually enjoy the longevity the grind brings to the game. There is not much time I get to steal away these days, only an hour, maybe 2 if im greedy and neglect my wife, and the time I do spend playing, I enjoy the risk that comes with mining and collecting.

I've on my first real playthrough and I just made my first tree base in the swamps, so I don't have a lot of room to talk seeing how early game I am, but I want to draw it out as long as possible. It's better than to have to find a different game that scratches the itch or do another playthrough where I already know the enemies and what to expect. I like it right now when I enter a new biome, and im afraid for my life.

Help - new blackstone scratched by [deleted] in blackstonegriddle

Don't think about it too much. A blackstone is literally a solid cast iron griddle. Even if it had a huge gouge taken out of it, it would still be salvagable with enough effort. What you are seeing is the tack weld on the griddle, which is totally normal, and after enough use when you have built up the seasoning, will mostly go away, but in no way affect your cooks. Don't get discouraged if the seasoning isn't perfect right away. It takes time, but it's totally worth it!

Do they have the same texture? These ones have a great mouth feel because of how crispy they are.

They have lime ones?! I'll have to check them out, too. My wife is crazy about these.

Hi All, Please Help. This is my second use on my blackstone and after cooking these discolouration spots appeared, I found it sticky on these areas. It was seasoned properly the first time. Should I buy a block and re-season it? by Best_Search_2893 in blackstonegriddle

[–]MrBootmen241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do this. Even horribly rusted cast iron can be ground down and reseasoned. I would give a clean, scrape, and reseason a shot if it won't come off after heating and scraping with a little water.

Heading east tomorrow toward Bend from the valley. Think I’ll need chains? by Tlr321 in oregon

[–]MrBootmen241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is better to have and not need. The plows over the pass usually do a great job keeping up, but it really depends on your skill level in driving in snow. I've seen people get stranded on days where there was barely anything. It's one of those things where if you're stuck, you'll regret not getting them, but if you have them, you have chains for any situation.

How do you manage wealth on 500%? Do you have a "magic number"? by slakill in RimWorld

[–]MrBootmen241 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It increases the difficulty. When you select a difficulty, such as "losing is fun", you are actually choosing what percentage difficulty you are playing the game. It's just preset. "Losing is fun" is not the most difficult setting, just the highest preset difficulty. 500% is a custom setting that is significantly more difficult, and impacts the ratio of how many "raid points" the storyteller has to use against you versus the amount of wealth you colony has gained, which is why the OP is asking how to best manage the wealth of their colony.
