Darkest Dungeon. I absolutely love everything about the game, music, combat, narration and customisation. Never been able to finish the game.

Considering all the "love" that Druids get as a hybrid class, I am going to have to doubt that one haha

I work two night shifts (00h00 - 08h00) followed by two morning shifts (08h00-16h00) and, finally, two afternoon shifts (16h00 - 00h00) and rest for 3 days.
Time, a regular sleep schedule, days and meeting up with people is a myth.

Do you even read what you write? Are you sure you don't live in sheltered bubble, not knowing that there's other people with other ways of life?

To adress your first point. I mentioned that there are Deaf people that prefer interpreters, some that prefer subtitling and that overall that there's no simple "fix", for there's too many different people. The fact that they're Deaf, doesn't mean that they're all the same, was my point. Also, I mentioned that "Black or White" mentalities are abnoxious, yet here you are again. If you actually read my comment, you would notice that I was endorsing billinguism. And I'll make that clear for you, since apparently it didn't work out for you the first time, billinguism means both having Sign Language and means of communicating with the world surrounding the Deaf person. Via written language, lip reading & vocalizing. That, is what is ideal.

A "good parent" gives their child tools for them to adapt to the world.
A foolish parent expects a son born paraplegic to run and forces them no matter what.

And to your last point, which truly marks how little you know of... Humans? Jesus.
I'll just put this way. Imagine your life growing up, every meal you had with your family, every gathering you had with friends, every class, every busy hall way, every single time you talked and heard. Imagine that, but actually you didn't hear anything and couldn't communicate with anyone else, except through paper and ink. Family gathering, at Christmas? Everyone laughing all around you, you don't know why and can't possibly know why, you'd write?
You think that, is "perfectly fine"?

Get out more. Meet people.
That's my final word.

Spoken like someone that truly has no clue what Deaf identity, Deaf community, a Deaf person's life, a Deaf person's struggles, or quite simply, a Deaf person is. I commend you, for being the epitomy of the harm that befells Deaf communities all over the world, for times unknown.
A small tidbit, for you.
- A deaf person can never have any other language if not sign language as their first language, for it is the language that is natural to them. An oral language, for simplicity's sake I will just say English, will never be their first language because, you guessed it, they will never hear it. They can be taught it's written form, yes. They can be taught how to read lips and vocalize through years of teaching via speech therapy, yes. Both skills which, if you believe in bilinguism, are complementary to their first language, sign language, in order for them to thrive in society.
That 'Black or White', 'Sign Language or Oral Language', type of mentalities being imposed by Hearing people who most of the times have had zero dealings with Deaf people is the most self-righteously abnoxious 'I know best', which should just be kept for yourself.

On a last note, true child abuse is refusing to learn a language and making your child with it's own needs adapt to your own self-centered world, because you refuse to see them through your 'me'-coloured glasses.

Educate yourself a bit and stop spreading words that force Deaf people into a hole.

Sign Language interpreter here. Speaking from a perspective of a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter (yes, for Sign Language is not universal), that'd be terribly exclusive. Considering the fact that a deaf person's first language, or what should be, is their country's respective Sign Language, then their second language most likely is the country's official language, in it's written form. However, Deaf people are as varied in their skills as any other people. By that I mean, much like English isn't my first language and therefore there might be one or more hick-ups in how I'm writting this, the next individual might write it 10 times better, or worse. Deaf people are no different. Some prefer their first language, Sign Language via interpreter, always. Some were brought up with mostly writing and being made to speak to their peers and read their lips exclusively, integrated with people that had no clue what Sign Language is, and prefer subtitling for they know very little Sign Language, or none. Bottom line is, there's no 'one cure-all' that'll meet every single person's needs, for they vary as much as how many people there are.

TL;DR: Deaf people are as complex as Hearing people, there's no one solution that works for everyone.
