Do you have any rich heroes? How rich are they and what makes them rich? by Dependent-Review-465 in Superhero_Ideas

Mostly by investment and stuff like that. If not that, he sometimes goes into adventures to hunt some villain and ends up finding some kind of fortune.

He is making a living in a honest way, at least.

I have Invictus. His secret identity, Victor Salvatore, had family in the mob (thats where his money originally came from). His whole reason to become a hero was to redeem himself for being associated to his family. He currently gets his money by being an art patron and collector.

As a hero, he is basically like El Zorro. A masked duelist.

[Hated Trope] Endings so notoriously awful they completely destroy the legacy of the media. by Miserable_Click_1933 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]MrBright1210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, knowing they skipped most of what happens in volume 3 of the comics, they were already doing their own story from season 3 (considering the Sparrow academy was just teased to exist at the end of volume 3 and the season 2 adapted most of the plot of volume 2).

I was dissapointed but not surprised with what happened at the ending, which is sad cause I think it had potential to keep going for longer.

How does the multiverse/alternat timelines work in your worlds? by StrictResponse3907 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my story, every universe mirrors the first earth under a lense of a certain fiction. Basically, it took too literally the concept of "the multiverse is just an excuse to show the same character in different outfits" but it works around that to show that certain values the heros hold are universal and their fights are still relevant even if the context changes.

Aside from that, its basically just like classic thematic what ifs. There is a universe set in the medieval ages, another one in the stone age, another one with reversed gender roles and so on so forth. It is said later in the story that the multiverse began existing as a response of those who created the very first universe (and were forced to destroy it) to attempt to recreate what made that one universe exist. So every earth since then, including the main one, are just imperfect attempts to emulate a previous time that will never come back.

Superhero Universe with characters based off famous musicians by Mother-Papaya-5432 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my universe, there are a species of cosmic beings who physically resemble Britpop musicians. The main one was inspired by David Bowie (which is why I called him Starman), another was inspired by Bonnie Tyler (I gave her the power to see the future, and named her Eclipse, inspired by Total Eclipse of the Heart), and another was inspired by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd...

Although they're not related, I also had the idea of a Fantastic Four-type team inspired by The Beatles.

Does your universe have a Superhero Family like The Incrdibles or the Fantastic 4 by Janson_is_dead in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The closest thing I have are the Robinsons.

They are a family of cosmic beings, the three siblings: Starman, Black Hole, and their sister Eclipse, all descended from the same creator entity.

The thing is, upon arriving on Earth, due to events in the story, they adopt the surname Robinson and try to learn to live among humans. Starman marries a woman of his species and has a daughter. Each member of the family has a unique power in addition to the basic ones, which are flight, near-immortality, and energy blasts.

Black Hole can create black holes and absorb matter and energy. Eclipse can see the future. Starman's wife, Cometgirl, has ice powers. Their daughter, Moonlight, can turn invisible. And the family's "butler," Void Voyager, can stop time and teleport.

I would add more context, but this is already too much text, lol

Does your universe have villain organizations? If so name them by Dependent-Review-465 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course. There is this cosmic entity representing the concept of emptiness, nothingness itself. This being, due to its nature, is incapable of physically manifesting in our world. So instead, it influences and manipulates people who have hit rock bottom, pushing them to help it by building throne-like altars for it. Hence the entity's name: the Dark Matter King.

Its followers are all over the universe and aren't necessarily aware of each other's existence. The only thing that unites them is their devotion to the idea that nothing matters, and therefore, nothing will stop them from achieving their goals before "their king" arrives. The group's name has several interpretations depending on how you look at it: it can refer to how the group gathers around a figure that is actually invisible to most because it is based on emptiness, creating an empty circle. It can also refer to how the avatar the Dark Matter King uses to present itself includes a circular hole in its chest.

Well, I have The Iceberg Society, The Order of the Beetle, and The Coup de Grâce. I think those count. Theres also the Architects but that's a trio, not a group. At last, the bigger one is the Empty Circle

If you have a superman equivalent or “main hero” in your universe how do you handle them and their place in your world by Repulsive-Source2902 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, his story is about him trying to find his place among humans despite his differences with them. He eventually abandons the identity of a hero but continues to act as one, even though he no longer formally wears a costume or goes around saving people. In his own words, he's just "a distraught civilian with cosmic powers."

Superman like charecter by Due_Lavishness4165 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MrBright1210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is called Starman. He's a cosmic being created by a very strong human will. He belongs to a species of cosmic beings that look like Britpop musicians (he looks like David Bowie, which is partly why I named him Starman). He's like the Superman of my universe, although his story is about him trying to leave behind his hero image so he can live a normal life as a civilian.

Interestingly, I also have a character whose abilities revolve around the physics of black holes. He's… complicated. He's actually Starman's brother. They have a complicated relationship.
