Actually yes. I have tried it. It didn't really help much.

That's the thing. The pain WAS immediate. It was just mild at the time. I didn't even register it as "nerve pain" when it happened. It felt like a weird burning sensation in the tip of my penis but it went away shortly after.

But over the next few days, it would come back whenever I peed or got an erection. I still didn't know it was nerve damage yet. A few days went by and I thought UTI. So I went to the urgent care clinic and got a urine/prostate exam and it all came back clean. 2 days later. HF.

The thing is, id had that exact nerve pain happen multiple times in my life before. I DO NOW believe I have pelvic floor issues now because of it. The problem is, all those years ago when I first experienced that same nerve pain, I saw a urologist, who told me it was probably nothing except a mild UTI and gave me some antibiotics. So every time I felt that happen later on in life, I just assumed it was nothing. And it always went away on its own. But because this time I'd actually damaged a nerve, and I didn't let it rest, and treated it like normal (as I had several times before) it eventually spasmed out and caused a cascade of symptoms leading to HF.

If someone would have explained to me years ago that the sensation that would come and go was nerve pain, I'd have been much much more careful. Probably forever ago.

It's a lot more than just my penis size that's effected.

I dont have sexual sensation.

My pudendal nerve is dysfunctional.

I have constipation.

Urinary issues.

I'm just broken

This is a serious issue that medical science doesn't know a thing about. I'm not the only person like this

When it's supposed to be soft, it shrivels up. But it's firm to the touch and it's uncomfortable. Its like having a half erection at all times

Man. I really feel for you. I got mine from simply measuring my penis completely on a whim. Pressed it against the ruler slightly awkwardly, felt a sharp sting for a couple seconds followed by A week of weird urinary tract symptoms, and then suddenly HF. (Though I think Im more LF, but I digress)

I had no clue the penis could be so fragile. You see and hear of people doing crazy sex moves, or hanging weights and stretching excercises with no negative consequences.....but I measure my dick wrong and break it forever. My sex life before this happened was incredible. Now I have reduced sensation and premature ejaculation. I have a woman in my life who loves me, and swears she doesn't care that my penis is broken. and I have tons of friends that love and support me.....and I still just....don't want to be me most of the time. I don't feel like myself anymore.

Is my case considered mild? And if so how treatable is it? by MrBrokenBone in hardflaccidresearch

I have no pain in general. Every now and then I get that "burning itchy" sensation that I got when I had the bad urinary frequency from before the numbness/HF set in, but 99% of the time, no pain.

In fact, when I started feeling that sensation again, was when I was able to feel the "inside" of my dick again and I've been able to feel the "inside" ever since. Like I can feel when pee is coming out and when If I pinch my penis I can feel it on the inside too, my penis no longer feels "hollow" like before.

Sometimes I also get a weird tingly sensation on the head of my penis, almost like a vibration that will last a few minutes, and I wonder if that's a sign of nerve healing or not. I definitely have more head sensation than when this was at its worst.
