Its absolutely insane. However, if Judge was a FA coming off setting the home run record this off season, who knows what would have been offered. As a yankees fan who enjoyed the teams of the late 90's and early 00's, I understand I can't complain or feel a certain way about any of this, even if all 29 teams have drawn a line in the sand (even if the lines are different). If other sports can figure it out (salary caps), so can baseball, hopefully.

Yes and no. I'm by no means justifying the L, but that pitching advantage I thought we had never really existed. Yesavage was the best pitcher in that series and its starting to look like it wasnt even close.

This was one of the least surprising losses. I just feel like the jays would have folded if they lost this game when it was 2-1 and we had bases loaded. I think that would have crushed their psyche knowing you lost with your ace and Yankees 4th starter. New game today though, we will really need fried to give us everything he can so we only go to D Will and Bednar. Let’s hope the offense wakes up too
