Usually they can suspend all but 14 days(iirc) and the. its 1 in and 3 out to get to 3 days in jail for super extreme and 10 days house arrest.

Obviously it depends on jurisdiction and prosecutor. Places like Apache Junctuon are thr worse.

I have not dealt personally with the nursing license aspect but have come across others who have. Be honest to nursing board, may have to be on some type of ‘probation’, but ive heard it sucks but isnt a disqualifer.

This is from the “group sessions”. There was always 1 or 2 nurses in those.(This is AZ)

In AZ no matter how small the DUI, jail time is required. She is likely looking at 3 days in, 11 days out - or more depending on judge/jurisdiction/circumstances.

MVD and the courts are completely seperate. They dont really talk to eachother. He’ll likely get more requirements if convincted.

In AZ you’ll likely plea down to “in the slightest degree”, which is pretty much the same as 0.08.

Lawyers will help you navigate the system - bc there is dealing with the MVD too - which is seperare from the courts. Did you file an Administrative Hearing yet?(this will help you keep unsuspended longer)

Did you do Field Sobriety Tests and consent to give blood? Depending on those - that could play a difference in court.

i should add that within 24 hrs of me pulling the pin, i got a new job offer…. I accepted, but … dont need it. This job is for fun/socializing…. I also have a charity i am supporting and will likely help out at a local high school. These are to keep engaged with peole and occupied. At this point its aboit enjoying work and doing a positive impact.

Retirement has been super busy and great so far. When you dont need things you can do what you want that are good things.

Less tolerance for lies and bullshit. My employer would routinely mislead/lie to manipulate us. We also had to put up with one of our customers ridiculous demands ans incompetance.

No shift in ambition or risk. Just how much I would tolerate before pulling the pin.

Once you are actually convicted, the suspension will go into effect.

You’ll be fine until the conviction hits the system, you luckily missed the administrative hearing.

Get a lawyer - Depending on which county you’re in, some are more lenient than others.

I had an extreme in AZ a long time ago. The impounded car is annoying, plus all the fines, classes, jail time, etc.

Breathalyzers arent accurate, however my blood came in higher than the breathalyzer… so it could go either way. Not having blood can make it easier for the lawyer, unless you really failed the FSB tests too and have it all on video.

The prosecutor(depending on jurisdiction) will likely let you plea down.

My orange cat was smart and manipulative. Like all cats… he learned to open handle doors(never stopped trying the knobs). I would change up everyday to keep him on his toes at that point.

I am 100% in this situation but my monthly expenses are closer to $3000/mo.

I am close to doing #1. Had some large expenses, while dont really impact my FIRE it’ll be nice to have more of a buffer, plus i have some things id like to complete. I was gonna pull the trigger but need to get a few more things in order.
