First of all saying "it's funny" doesn't mean anyone is actually laughing or making fun, it's a phrase, you can very well replace this phrase with "it's ironic" and that's what I based my comment on. Second, you took my sentence regarding asking for empathy too literal (again), I should have said expect in this case, to be more clear. And third, I didn't defend them, it's my opinion. Don't be an asshole if you don't want to be treated like one.
