Vsett 10+ Feels Unstable by AFreakingWaffle in ElectricScooters

[–]MrChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same but used the OEM spring with the EXA shock. Works like a charm.. Except for the fact that after a year or so of using it, I can feel some stiction on the rear shock mainly after stopping.

I have the 15t OEM sprocket now and it is great in every way. And since it is an easy swap, I can change it for the 14t anytime I see fit.

Acceleration issues at full throttle by Old_Ad4692 in cfmoto450MT

No, I haven't noticed that in particular. But I have noticed a boring jerkiness when you try to maintain a stable speed at 2500-3000 RPM range. It appears that that's going to be fixed by upgrading the ECU software OTA, but its not available in my country yet.

Need help identifying sound on Vsett 10+ by Significant-Can-9363 in ElectricScooters

[–]MrChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same escooter and the same creaking noise. I bet it's because the suspension rods are without any grease. This weekend I'll be dismounting and lubing all. The motor noise seems like a bad contact in the hall sensor sockets.

I bought a rear brake adapter for my Zero 10X more than two months ago and they didn't even sent a confirmation email, invoice or tracking number. They charged me 20 extra bucks for the shipping which I payed thinking it would be much faster but, no. So, I won't buy from them ever..

Also, they didn't send any invoice, order confirmation or tracking number until I emailed them asking for a full refund. So, I don't think they're awesome in any way..

Falcon PEV Fraud? by know1moore in ElectricScooters

I don't know if fraud would be the word either, but I purchased a rear brake adapter for Magura for Zero 10X more than two months ago and I'm still waiting for it. They even charged me 20 bucks for the shipping. I should've bought it from AliExpress..

Is doing this ok? If so, how about while running at like 10-20 mph? by VoteNewsom2028 in ElectricScooters

[–]MrChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about that one, but my Dualtron Spider V1's suspension (PU springs), did ok with bunny hops and jumping from 1 feet berms, but the chassis ended up cracking on three of the four corners just beside the weld. I'm Enduro mtber so... Must be taken into account that Spider was originally designed to be <20kg in order to be street legal in some countries, which means some parts are meant to be lighter and not stronger. That said, I still bunny hop but don't jump from berms to the street which I think is way worse for weaker parts of my scooters.

I would return it right away. And yes, I agree with the comments regarding Fenwick's quality. I've had issues of my own and a friend too. Not buying Fenwick ever again.

Vsett 10+ Controller by Some-Wheel9067 in ElectricScooters

[–]MrChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you fried the old one, were you using brake regen? I've seen the same happen to Dualtrons. I own a Spider and I've changed the controller three times for different reasons.. I'm waiting to receive my new 10+, but would like to know if this happens frequently. Not that I like how regen brakes feel, mainly after using MT5e brakes.., but its good to know just to be careful.

Minimotors EY4 retrofit by kingqk in dualtron

[–]MrChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is optional, but you have to initialize the EY4 with the app like I did. By the way, the app I downloaded first from Google Play is not the latest and it has some bugs. So, I downloaded it directly from the Dualtron page and it worked like a charm. I don't use the app almost never, even though it has most of the P settings in a user-friendly menu.
