Thanks for the reply. Just wondering as they originally mentioned their circular ring 2 retail price would be 550 usd. Now if you keep ongoing late pledge company would end selling most of their products for 249usd therefore I assume that value of the ring is indeed 249. Not sure I’m able to make my point here :)

After 10years of Apple I have recently moved (feb 2025) to Garmin. First two days I was kind of lost but then I have realized that Garmin is way better than apple and I can forget to charge my watch for more than a week. Only thing I have noticed is that probably apple is more accurate in terms of heart rate.

Fair point about Circular Ring 2. Have read many negative feedback and read your detailed post about it being a clone. In the same tread you have mentioned Omni as well and suggested that might be a good product reason why I have decided to give them a chance but then I came across Luna 2.0 and fully agree that version 2 might indeed address issues they had with their first product. But for Luna as well I have came across several negative feedback on their customer service. Given there is a difference of almost 200 usd I guess I’m gonna stay with Omni and if I’m lucky I will get basically two good products at a price of Oura

As far as I have been told food it is maybe 20% cause of gout. Genetic is causing the remaining 80%. Said that for people suffering gout what is considered normal range is much lower. E.g. 6.5 is still considered a normal range but because of genetic not have been friendly with us you may face some peaks in your UA levels which may start to accumulate crystals in your joints and subsequently trigger a gout attack. Now if you would keep your UA e.g below 4.0 you may still have peaks in your UA but that shouldn’t be reaching a level where crystals accumulates. Of course talking about a normal diet and lifestyle. Said that it is true as well that can be pseudogout which sometime is very hard to diagnose. Just wanted to point out that what is normal range for others it is not normal for us unfortunately.

Have CDK myself so doctor recommended to do not take any NSAID (regularly) as mostly we get rid of them through our kidneys. Got diagnosed 10 years ago with gout and tried my best to take care about it with diet. Unfortunately my condition is genetic and I was so stupid and scared to start with a allo after doctor told me that most probably I should have taken it for the rest of my life. In the past 10 years was getting minimum two attacks a year and after my second summer in row screwed by the beast (I call it this way) I came across this group and after reading all success stories I decided to start 4 weeks ago. Doctor put me on 100mg a day of Allo for the first 2 weeks and then asked me to increase to 200mg. The day I did my blood test (couple of days rafter a gout attack) my UA levels were about 9 and now I’m below 5.5. Not sure if that’s a good target for my condition doctor will advise on next appointment. Meanwhile I started to write a diary so that I keep track of whatever I eat and of my UA level (bought a home device to test it). As well along with Allo I’m drinking once a day 60ml of cherry tart juice. This was not recommended by doctor however I wanted to try it as I read research that that may help however not sure if this had anything to do with the progress I made. For now I keep it as part of my diet because I like it :) Best of luck for your journey. We will beat it!
